The days pass in Imladris peacefully; Raewyn's thoughts constantly trailed to Aragorn daily and weren't rested until she saw him later in the evenings. They had not spoken to anyone about their meetings but they weren't making it public either considering who Aragorn was and she respected it.
The day of the council meeting had come; Raewyn stood on the balcony as she watched more arrivals appear through the Rivendell gate including someone she had not seen in many years; Legolas, the elf who welcomed him to her visit in Mirkwood, even her father was welcoming. With excitement; she ran out of her room, forgetting she was in a dress, and picked up her dress sprinting as she ran past her uncle and Arwen "Ranga tyeri(Pace yourself)" he said loud enough for her to hear down the hall "Goheno nin! (Forgive me)"she replied as she slowed her pace reaching to the courtyard.

She thought of Legolas as her brother and he as his sister. As soon as Legolas saw her with his own eyes; his face lit up as he quickly hopped off his horse with arms open as she jumped into his arms "Gwanur Legolas! (Brother Legolas)" he chuckles hugging her close "Ah Raewyn! You grew so much!" he pulled back looking at her "And in a dress at that. Father couldn't get you to wear one when you were in Mirkwood" he said amazed at how beautiful she had gotten "You look wonderful" she smiled at him; her hands in both of his "You look regal as ever. You're here for the council?" Legolas' face turned serious for a moment "Yes, father asked me to come in his stead"
Raewyn nodded as Elrond's aide; Lindir appeared "Welcome those who have arrived, please follow me. Lady Raewyn, the Lord Elrond wishes to speak with you in his study" she looked at him a moment nodding as she looked back at Legolas "Well I'll see you soon" she kisses his cheek before walking away. He was confused for a moment "Do you mean to attend the meeting?" he asked as she nodded at him smiling at him. Why would Elrond allow her to be in the meeting?
The young maiden reached the study of her uncle as he was reading over some documents "My Lord..." she curtsied as one of his kin would do. He smiled at her "I suppose you found whom you were looking for?" she looked at him blushing from embarrassment "Yes. Legolas was here and it'd had been years since I saw him" she smiled as she walked towards him "You called for me uncle?" she asked. He put the papers down "Yes, I would like you to escort me to the meeting. It would be proper" she almost forgot for a moment that she was going. She still wanted to decline but she simply nodded "Of course"
