SISIR'S POV

Right now, me and Basanta are playing catch ball in the palace's backyard. I looked at my surrounding and chuckled lightly. Everything has changed. Nothing remained the same. This palace's structure changed. Our dad changed. I still remember that horrible day. Basanta's birthday that changed all of our life. And I hate that day to the core of my heart.

FLASHBACK ON BASANTA'S BIRTHDAY

Everyone gathered around to listen to the king's sudden announcement. Sisir was confused because that was not planned in the party. But he didn't say anything. "maybe something came up which is important." He noticed that a woman was with his father. He became more confused and asked Basanta, "who is that woman next to dad." To which Basanta replied, "she is madam maiden. Dad said that she is a well-known business woman. Do you know anything about her?" but, Sisir said, "I have no idea about the announcement. Let's just wait. Okay.' Suddenly, klaus began to speak," ladies and gentlemen. May I have your attention please. So, as you all know today is my younger son, prince Basanta's birthday and I would like to wish him a happy birthday. Wish you would get everything you need in your life son. But I would like to announce something else too. As you all know a year ago, my wife died. I know it is still heartbreaking to remember that. But, things need to be changed. We can't just stay up with the past. The present is with us and the future is waiting for us. And I wanted to give a wonderful gift to my son who is longing for a mother's warmth. We must overcome the past and live in the present while waiting for the upcoming future."

(A/N: what the hell did I just write. (ㆆ_ㆆ) am I the only one who thinks that he is sounding like that one school principal who speaks about discipline which nobody understands properly. for a whole hour in the school assembly in summer season and doesn't stop even after a student fainted.)

So, on this very fine special day. I would like to made a decision that." Klaus paused for a moment. Everyone were curious to know what decision did he made. He took a long breath and said, "I am remarrying again with this woman." He suddenly got on one knee, took maiden's hand and put a ring on it. And that woman said yes. The whole hall was filled with the sound of people gasping and whispering. And if you want to know the reaction of Sisir and Basanta. Then, they were literally frozen on their spot and gave the king the mixture of 'wtf' and 'are you serious bro?' look together. Suddenly, Sisir said to Basanta, "did you listen what I listened bro. this can't be happening right?" to which Basanta replied, "yo kunai sapana haina. Reality ho dai."

Translation: "it is not a dream. It is reality brother." They both were still shocked. Whether all the other people who were present there were happy for the arrival of the new queen. Why you may ask. Cause in their opinion a kingdom needs a queen as well to rule them and handle the king as well. Sisir suddenly remembered what he said to his father a few months ago. He sighed deeply and thought "mahile afulai sudarnu bhaneko thiye. Yo manche le ta arko bihye gar bhane buzecha kya ho. Hye bagawan yo mahile ke gare aba ma ke garam."

Translation: "I told him to change himself. I guess he thought I told him to get married again. Oh god. It is all my fault. Now what should I do"

Klaus and maiden were holding hands. Maiden had a huge smile on her face which creped Sisir as well. Sisir felt that he had seen her before but couldn't guess where.

(A/N: you had seen her with her dream girl. Remember idiot.)

Sisir thought, "oh I remember now. She was with that beautiful girl. What is this mystery. I have never seen this woman before. I need to talk to dad about this matter. He didn't even inform anything to us in this matter."

Sisir went towards Klaus but before he could get the chance to talk. People came to congratulate the newly engaged couple. And that's how everyone forget that it was Basanta's birthday. Basanta was disappointed because it was his special day but now everyone were ignoring him and focusing on congratulating the new engaged couple whom he had no idea about. He had tears in his eyes. Before anyone could see him, he ran towards his room and locked himself. He was still shock with the fact that his father just got engaged today without his own children's proper knowing. He stayed in bed still sobbing. After a while, he heard a knock on the door. He opened the door and saw Sisir standing there. He told Sisir to come inside. They both sat on the bed. And suddenly Basanta started showering Sisir with tons of questions.

He asked, "what the hell happened in the hall? Did you talk to dad? Who is that woman? Did everyone forget about me?" before he could ask more questions. Sisir put his hand on Basanta's mouth and told him to keep quiet.

Sisir said, "let me talk, will you." Basanta nodded his head in agreement. Sisir left his hand off Basanta's mouth and said, "I didn't get the chance to talk. He is busy with his new woman." he said while rolling his eyes. his voice filled with sarcasm.

He rolled his eyes. Sisir was really hurt cause his own father hides the fact that he was going to get married from his children. They both stayed in the room for a while and left cause the party was still going on. That's how their day went. After an hour or two, all the guests have already left the party. Klaus provided a room to maiden cause she will be staying from now on. At dinner table, everyone was eating their dinner silently. Then, suddenly Sisir said after finishing his meal, "dad, wanna talk about it?" Klaus looked at him confused and asked, "what?" Sisir sighed and said, "you know what I am talking about father." He put pressure on the word father.

Klaus raised his eyebrow and again said what. That's it. Sisir got up and slammed the table. Everyone present in the dining table flinched. Even Basanta Then, he said, "you know what I am talking about. Dad. What is all this. What happened in the party? I was never against your second marriage. But, at least you should be aware to inform your own children. Did you think of us this low that you thought we were going to reject this marriage? I am disappointed in you dad." Sisir said with a sigh. He noticed that his father wasn't saying anything. He waited for him to speak but Klaus didn't say anything. Sisir growled and left the dining table. Basanta went after him as well.

FLASHBACK SISIR DIDN'T KNOW

Suddenly, maiden snapped her finger in front of Klaus and he came to his senses. Klaus flinched and shuttered, "whha... what happened? Where are the kids?maiden." Maiden said, "they went to their room honey." She holds Klaus hand. "I think the kids need more time to be comfortable with me. Let's wait. They will get the habit of me around them soon." Maiden spoke with a mischievous smile. Klaus nodded and they both went to their respected rooms. Before going, maiden gave Klaus the same red wine that Basanta saw at the party to Klaus. And Klaus happily drank it without suspecting anything like a fool. But, Klaus failed to notice that maiden had a smirk on her face while giving him that. When Klaus reached his room, his eyes turned blue and he fainted. Luckily, he was near his bed. So his unconscious body laid on the bed.
