Suddenly, Sisir's stomach made a sound meaning that he is hungry. He roamed around the city in search of food. He was walking here and there when out of nowhere a giant elephant picked him up by his waist in his trunk and placed him on its back. Sisir started panicking. he thought he was dreaming but he was not. He heard people shouting, "WE HAVE FOUND OUR NEW KING!! WE HAVE FOUND OUR NEW KING!!" Sisir became more confused as why they were calling him the king. But, the most important thing in this mind at that moment was that an elephant was carrying him around the city. AN ELEPHANT. It was no joke. And he doesn't even know the reason why?

(A/N: if I was on Sisir's place. I would have had a panic attack and faint right there. You know why. Cause I am a coward. {{{(>_<)}}} I am mostly scared of animals. And I don't know why. I have tried to be brave but instead it gives me more anxiety. But, also If others were there they would have also enjoyed it because who doesn't like a free ride. So, back to the story.)

Soon, they reached a huge mansion. When I say huge, it means massive. It was revealed to Sisir that it was the kingdom's palace. The guards opened the gates and everyone including the royal elephant entered inside. When Sisir saw the surrounding inside the palace. He was too stunned to speak because it was so beautiful. It had a huge garden at the corners of the palace. The design of the palace was classic yet so unique. When they reached the main door, the elephant put Sisir down. Few people came near him and dragged him inside the palace. When they entered, he was taken in a room and was forced to put on an outfit which looked like a wedding suit or we could say daura suruwal??? When he asked the person who was with him what was happening, the person replied, "a wedding ceremony will happen soon in this palace." When Sisir asked whose wedding while chewing on the meat that he ordered few minutes ago. The other person who was helping him to put on daura surwal with Dhaka topi just casually said, "your wedding. Whose else." Sisir became shocked and nearly chocked at the sudden information. He was trying his best to digest the sudden information.

Sisir thought, "haahina ke bhancha yo manche le. Pagal ta hoina. Ma ahile balla 16 barsa ko ta ramro sanga bhayeko chaina ra mero bihe hudai cha. Ani main kuro mero behuli ko ho bhane kura malai nai tha chaina. Hye bhagawan tapai le malai nai kina yesto kharab kismat dinu bhayeko hola. Ma hyaha bata bhagna pani sakchu zasto chaina. Sabai thau ma manche nai manche chan. Basanta pani mera lagi jungle ma kuri rakheko cha hola."

Translation: "what the hell is this person saying? Is he mad or what? I haven't even reached 16 years of my life and I am already getting married. And the main point is that I don't even know who is my bride. Oh god. What did you only give me this kind of fate in life. I can't even escape from here. People are everywhere around the palace. Also Basanta must be waiting for me in that jungle till now as promised."

The hairstylist managed Sisir's hair as a final touch up. They left the room. When, they reached the hall Sisir finally noticed that the hall was decorated very beautifully. He noticed the havaan kunda in the middle and near that a priest was chanting some mantras (spells). He motioned Sisir to sit on a cloth near the fire. Sisir obeyed him and sat there not knowing what will happen to him next. Soon, after the priest called the bride. When Sisir looked up at his bride, he frowned a little cause he can't see the face of his bride as it was covered with a red veil. She sat down next to him and the ceremony started. He tried his best to look at her face, but he couldn't. at last he gave up because he doesn't want to invade her privacy. And it is also the ritual to not look at the bride at her wedding.

(A/N: I don't know if this ritual is real or not. But in the traditional times, it might be true. I guess it was true as my grandmother had said that she didn't see my grandfather's face until their wedding day. It was an arrange marriage.)

When it was the time for the groom to put sindur(red powder) in bride's forehead. Sisir opened the veil and froze. The girl he was marrying to was beautiful. He came to his senses after a minute and put the sindur in her forehead. Like that they completed the wedding. At the end of the wedding, Sisir was still confused. He was like 'did I just got married?' He looked at his surrounding and realized that everyone was busy talking to each other. Suddenly he heard someone say, "run". He looked over at his side and saw that the girl who was now his wife was signaling him to run from the door. He stands up and began to ran around the palace. He was still confused at what happened to him. So he stopped running, went near a guard and asked him about the situation. The guard bowed to him in respect and said, "greetings my king. How can I help you?" Sisir made a confused face and said, "I am the king." While pointing at himself to which the guard nodded. Sisir again asked in a loud voice, "SO, CAN I KNOW WHY THE PEOPLE IN THIS KINGDOM SUDDENLY DRAGGED ME HERE AND MADE ME MARRY A WOMAN WHOM I EVEN DON'T KNOW." Sisir was getting angry. But, the guard remained calm and said, "oh, so no one told you about it?" Sisir got more confused. "so, let me tell you. You are brought here as a replacement."
