The night Sisir left.Basanta was still in the wait of his brother. He waited and waited but Sisir never came. It was already 3 am but there was still no sign of Basanta. To say that Basanta wasn't scared would be an understatement. He was constantly spelling hanuman matras since Sisir left. We could hear him say, "jai hanuman zhan gun sagar..." He was also feeling hurt that Sisir didn't came for him. But, the next moment Basanta thought that Sisir might be in trouble. While, he was in his deep thoughts, his eyes started to feel sleepy. Soon he fell asleep. Next morning, when he woke up he decided that he will look for Sisir himself. So, he began his journey. He walked for about an hour with an empty stomach. He was getting confused in which direction should he go. In short, we can say that Basanta was lost in a big and dense forest all alone scared. But, he didn't give up hope and kept on moving. Soon, after walking for another hour, he saw a house nearby. He was over the moon when he saw that. He was damn hungry and he hoped that the people living inside would be kind enough to give him some food. but, he started to feel dizzy. With a lot of struggle, he finally reached that house but before he could ring the doorbell, he fainted on the spot due to hunger. After a few hours later, BASANTA'S POVI woke up in a dark room. how did I end up here? Wait a second. Am I dead. Is this heaven or could be hell as well? And why in the world am I having a headache even after my death. Oh.... If I am feeling pain, then I must be alive but where am I? before I could process more. The door of the room opened and a lady who looked like in her 30's entered inside with a tray of soup. dang. it looks delicious. She saw that I was gaining back my consciousness. I opened my eyes fully and maintained my posture with the support of the headboard. She came near me with a warm smile and said, "how are you now. Little guy." I nodded my head and smiled telling her that I was feeling better. then, my eyes landed on the bowl of soul and my stomach grumbled. That was embarrassing. I want the ground to swallow me up. I heard her chuckle low-key. She handed me the bowl of soup. I quickly took it from her and began to drink it. I didn't realize that I was eating the food like I haven't eaten in days but who cares. My hunger matters the most now. (A/N: this is me whenever I am even slightly hungry. I eat like a pig without caring about anyone. Like, my stomach is asking for foodOUT OF BASANTA'S POVWhen Basanta was done eating. he looked at the woman and nearly had a heart attack because she was standing very near to him. Soon, he heard another footsteps coming towards the room. he looked towards the room and saw that a man looking like he is in his's 30's came inside. He looked like the same age of the woman and assumed that they might be husband and wife. The man was giving Basanta a warm smile which made him feel a little bit relaxed. The lady took the bowl from Basanta's hand and put it in the table. The man and the woman both looked at Basanta. Little Basanta understood that they wanted him to say something. Basanta took a deep breath and said, "thank you for saving my life. I don't know how could I repay you," the couple looked shocked. The lady quickly said, "you don't have to repay us little kid. You are still very young. And if you are comfortable enough can you tell us how you get here in this stage. You looked miserable when we found you." She said with a worried look on her face. Basanta was hesitant to tell these stranger's his real identity. So he said, "I don't remember my parents. I was raised in an orphanage until now since I was an infant. They treated the kids poorly there so I ran away and ended up here." Basanta lied and to his surprise the couple believed him. He felt guilty seeing the woman's tearful face by listening to his fake story but he got no choice. He had to do this for his own safety. He can't just tell them that he is the prince of Neville. They would just think he is a crazy kid. The woman held Basanta's hand and said, "little one. I know it might sound crazy. But if you really don't have anyone in this world. Come and stay with us. Stay here as our so. I won't might having a cute angel running around in the house." The man was about to protest but stopped when he saw his wife glaring right into his soul having a look of, "you talk, I will kill you." The man gulped and nodded his listening to his wife. And he wouldn't mind Basanta around as well. Basanta looked shocked. He was like 'what did she say?' the woman thought that Basanta need some time to think about it. But, before she could say something more. Basanta shouted, "YES. I WOULD LOVE TO." The man flinched at the sudden outburst but the woman didn't move. She smiled widely and hugged Basanta who hugged her back. The man suddenly spoke breaking the lovely bubble. He said, "we would be glad to have you as our family member but may I know your name kid. Let's introduce each other, shall we?" The woman and Basanta broke the hug and Basanta said, "my apologies. Well my name is Basanta. And I am a 10 year's old orphan. I have no family. If you accept me, you can be my family." The man heart ached hearing those words which contains deep meaning hidden inside of it by a 10 year's old. Oh i wish he knew that was a lie. He smiled warmly at Basanta and said, "nice to meet you Basanta. My name is Ron Tiwari and this is my wife Runa Tiwari which was just hugging the daylight out of you a few moments ago." Runa again glared at his husband but he decided to ignore it. Basanta smiled hearing that. Runa clapped her hands like an excited kid and said loudly which made Ron flinch again, "WELCOME TO THE FAMILY BASANTA." Poor Ron nearly had a heart attack twice because of the sudden outburst once again. But, he soon regained his scenes and the new family did a group hug. Soon, they both left the room. Basanta fell back to bed and started to think, "it's your life now Basanta. You have to get used to it now. Sisir, brother. If you are still alive. I pray to god that we would meet soon. I miss you. Now let's see how this family would turn in the future." Basanta had little tears while thinking about Sisir. soon, he slept. Meanwhile outside, Ron and Runa were talking about Basanta. Ron asked his wife, "are you sure honey that it is your final decision to adopt this little boy as our son. I am not complaining but still." Runa relied with a calm voice, 'I am 100% sure. Just look at that kid Ron. His eyes show so much innocence. He looks like he needed to be protected from this cruel world. We can't let that happen. Besides, we have been trying to have kids of our own from years or a decade but we got nothing. Oh what is the problem if we see him as our son. You know how badly I wanted to be a mother. It is my last wish." Runa had tears in her eyes. She wanted to feel the beautiful feeling of being a mother. And she saw her child figure in Basanta. And now, she was not changing her decision. Ron quickly pulled her into his arms and tried to calm her down. He promised her that he will treat Basanta as his son for her wife's happiness. After a few moments, they both went to sleep as well in their own rooms.
