STILL SISIR'S POV
Warning: a few curses (* ̄︿ ̄) and Nepali language
After a few months of living in the palace. They both got married. But, soon we all found out that dad married a two faced bitch. Like she was only sweet and innocent in front of dad but when he was not around. She would always boss around. Order people around and speak rudely to them. And she is a greedy woman as well. Like she is obsessed with makeup and jewelry. She has a whole room full of jewelry and expensive clothes. At this rate, we will be on the streets for sure.
(A/N: my dad always says this line whenever I eat chocolates or turn on the fan because it is so hot in here.")
And about dad. So Basanta and I had not talked to him after Basanta's birthday party night. I tried to apologize to him. But, the next day he went to hunting. And when he returned he ignored me and Basanta completely. So, that's our life now.
END OF SISIR'S POV
Suddenly Basanta threw a ball at Sisir and it missed him but due to their bad luck it went directly flying to the witch's room. I mean maiden's room. Basanta and Sisir hear a mirror breaking sound and realized that they were in big trouble. They both gulped down their saliva. Basanta said in a shaking voice, "la moriyo ni bai. Aba ke garne. Tyo bausi le ta marchin aba hami lai. Dai, malai yo umer ma marna man chaina. Ke garne ho aba. Kehi ta bol na bhane. Ko zancha tya hamro ball lina ka lagi tyo bausi ko room ma. Oye rock paper scissors kelam zo harcha tyo zancha"
translation: "oh god. We are so dead. What should we do now. That witch will kill us. Bro, I don't want to die in this young age. Say something. who will go to fetch our ball from that witch's room. okay. So let's play rock paper scissors and the one who will lose will go to get the ball. Deal." Sisir looked at him with a 'are you serious bro' face look but in the end he agreed. They played rock paper scissors and unfortunately Basanta lost. Sisir did a little victory dance. Basanta sighed and said, "fine... I am going." Basanta walked confidently to maiden's room but don't know how all of his bravery vanished when he was outside her room. don't get me wrong. Basanta and Sisir both are very brave but they don't want to get into trouble by messing with their stepmom as they knew their father would listen to her lies and won't believe them. Now, Basanta was in front of her door. "oh god please save me from this makeup shop. i am too young to die." basanta thought to himself. He gulped and knocked on the door. But, no one answered. He knocked again but this time as well no one answered. He reached for the door knob only to realize that the door was opened. he quietly went inside. And nearly screamed when he saw maiden holding the catch ball in her hand while sitting on her makeup chair looking like razing bull who is about to kill him. Well, Basanta can see the broken mirror in the background and a little cut on her head. Maiden looked furious. She looked like she was about to explode any minute. He went near her and asked, "hi maiden. Can I get my ball back please? I didn't mean to attack you with the ball. Please forgive me and return the ball." he said showing her his cute puppy eyes. O (≧ ∀ ≦) o. But that cold hearted woman's heart didn't melt. Instead, she holds the ball tighter with not so good looking smirk in her face and says, "what if I say I don't want to. Listen here kid. You did a mistake by throwing a ball in my room, breaking my mirror and having bravery to enter my room to ask for the ball. So my answer is no. do whatever you want."
Basanta felt hopeless. He knew for sure that he will not get his ball back. He said a goodbye to the ball in his mind and left the room with a heavy sigh after bowing to the so called queen. He went outside in the garden with a sad gloomy face where Sisir was waiting for him. When Sisir saw his brother without the ball, he knew that he didn't succeed on the plan but still he asked, "oye bhai. Ke bhanin tinle? Ball payeu ki nai? Oye kehi ta bol na. kina chup lageko chas?"
Translation: "bro, what did she say? Did you get the ball or not? Say something na. why are you silent?" But, Basanta's reaction to Sisir's question was enough for everyone to know that Basanta failed. Basanta was giving him a 'are you blind or what?' look. Sisir sighed heavily and said, "I knew that woman would not give us the ball when you ask politely. So, let your big bro handle it." Then, Sisir gave a creepy smile to Basanta by which Basanta knew for sure that Sisir was up to no good. He was getting the chills. Believe it or not Sisir can be a devil in the form of an angel sometimes if that it possible. Before he could say anything, Sisir had already left to maiden's room. Basanta was praying for his brother's safety.
After, a few minutes all the servants and Basanta heard a high pitched scream from the witch I mean maiden. Basanata saw Sisir coming out in the garden with the ball in his hand and a huge smile or a smirk on his face. Like it was the mixture of a smile and a smirk.
(A/N: I don't know if there is a facial expression like that or not. I just wrote what came to my stupid mind. So ignore it please.)
Basanata got curious. So when Sisir came near him and gave him the ball. Basanta saked, "what the hell did you do inside that woman's room. I heard a loud scream. Yaah don't tell me that you killed her. Oh my god. Then we both might end up in jail or worse be poisoned by our own father who loves his so-called-wife more than anything in the world. Don't consider me rude but that woman is insane bro. everyone hates her and want to burn her alive but are scared of her as well except for our father." Basanta rolled his eyes in the end of the sentence. Sisir nodded. But still Basanta was curious how he got the ball. So after a lot of begging from Basanta which means screaming in Sisir's ear. Sisir spilled the tea about the incident that happened in that room.
