"He's a plague.."

"Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same."

"You should have gone for the head."

"NO!" Iris scream, waking up from her dream- or, nightmare. She pants, calming herself down, realizing it was only that- a dream. She wipes cold sweat from her forehead as her door swings open.

"Iris! What happened?" Steve comes in and sits down on the bed next to her. Behind him, came in Wanda who slept in the same hall of the building.

As Iris caught her breath, Wanda came in and sat on the bed next to Steve.
"I'm fine. It was just a nightmare." she looks at both of them.
"But this might be worse than we thought."

"What are you saying?" Wanda leans forward.

"Whoever is coming for my stone, wants them all. I think he's in my head." Iris squints "He's planning something terrible, and I don't
know if I can stop it."

Steve and Wanda glance at each other before turning back to Iris. Maybe this was more serious than they had all thought.
"It's okay, we'll take care of it together." Steve says with a nod.

"God, sometimes I feel like our lives are some wild story." Iris groans. "I was just Tony's assistant what a month or so ago? And now I'm being hunted down." she laughs quietly to herself.
"Sorry I try to make myself feel better.."

"You're alright." Steve takes her face in his hands and presses a kiss on her forehead before standing from the bed.
"I'll go and see if Tony's awake, maybe I'll mention this to him." he gives a sympathetic smile, and walks out of the room.

Wanda let's out a deep sigh.
"How bout we go to the kitchen, maybe get you some water?" she stands from the bed, holding out her hand.

Iris smiles, pulling her comforter off her and taking Wanda's hand. She pulls her up and out of bed and they walk to the kitchen together. Iris takes a seat at one of the stools while Wanda grabs a glass from the cabinet and begins filling it with water. While she waits, Iris' mind trails off, thinking back to her dreams. She couldn't remember everything that happened, only a few things people had said. Whoever was after the stones seemed awful. Great. Only made her more nervous for this wild plan she had orchestrated.

Wanda places the glass on the counter snapping Iris out of her thoughts and back into reality.
"Are you sure you're alright? You seem out of it."
she asks, leaning on the counter.

Iris nods, taking a sip of the water.
"Yeah I'm fine. Just thinking about it all." she sets the glass down. "Thanks by the way." she smiles.

Wanda nods.
"Is there anything I could do to help you. I could try reading your mind...maybe it would help us understand your dreams better." It had worked once before, when Wanda read her mind and learned about Iris' past.

"We could try, yeah." Iris says with a nod.
Wanda walks over, around the kitchen island to stand next to Iris. She raises her hand next to Iris' temple and gently closes her eyes.
Then, after just a few seconds, Wanda gasps and quickly steps back.
"Not good huh?"

"Not good. I think we lose." Wanda says quietly.

"You mean my dreams are.. like predictions?" Iris leans forward, furrowing her brows.

"I think so. If that's true, we're much less prepared than we thought."

"So what is this I hear about you having dreams and predicting the future?"
Tony had sat in his office with Peter and called Iris in, after he heard what happened.
