Memphis and Carol's ship left Tanis and slowly followed the Nile River, advancing toward Giza.

"We can see Giza's shrines now," Memphis said.

"The pyramid of Giza!" Carol said when she spotted it.

"Advance the ships towards the shrines!" Memphis ordered the sailors.

"The shrines!" the sailors repeated.

"The pharaoh!" the people at the shrines said when they saw the ship coming. "The pharaoh has arrived! The daughter of the Nile has returned." The people cheered for Memphis and Carol.

"We've reached the pyramid shrine," Carol said when their ship landed next to the shrine connected to the pyramid. Memphis helped her get off the ship.

"Be careful, Carol, don't trip," he said.

"Thanks!" Carol said.

"The daughter of the Nile!" a local soldier said.

"The daughter of the Nile has returned!" the man holding the gangway for them said.

"Nanny, Memphis has returned," Kafra said, watching from a short distance away.

"Princess Kafra!" Ayah said.

"Welcome back, Pharaoh Memphis," Kafra said, hurrying over to kneel before him. "It is an honor to greet you."

"Oh... You are princess Kafra," Memphis said.

"Eh? Who is she?" Carol asked, surprised.

"Wooww! Ah!" Kafra said, staring adoringly at Memphis.

"A princess? Who is she?" Carol asked. "Why is she here?"

"King Memphis, I could no longer stay in Thebes and patiently wait for your return. So I've come to south Egypt just to see you," Kafra said.

"I wouldn't dare, Princess Kafra," Memphis said. "You should just stay here, as it would be far too disrespectful for me to go to Thebes."

'Princess Kafra? Who is she?' Carol wondered, wishing someone would answer her. "A fine, feminine woman?"

"Exactly what kind of person is she?" Unas wondered.

"Where did she come from?" Ruka wondered.

"King Memphis, you left so suddenly, I was so worried!" Kafra said. "Every single day, I was hoping for your safe return."

"Who is she?" the soldiers who had gone to Egypt with Carol wondered.

"I apologize for making you worry," Memphis said.

"Memphis, what kind of person is she?" Carol whispered, moving closer to her husband.

"Ah! That's right. You haven't met Princess Kafra yet," Memphis said. "This is Princess Kafra of the Kingdom of Libya. During our absence, she came to Egypt as an ally."

"Eh? The princess of Libya. Did she come to Egypt to form a contract?" Carol asked, perking up at the thought of meeting someone from a new ancient country.

"Oh! This is the princess of the Nile! This is the first time I've seen her up close," Kafra said.

"Princes Kafra, allow me to introduce you to my wife, Queen Carol," Memphis said.

"Hello, Princess Kafra, I'm Carol," Carol said politely.

"I am the first princess of Libya, Kafra," Kafra said coolly. 'So, this is the daughter of the Nile that I'm always hearing about?' she thought disdainfully. 'Such a thin and frail-looking girl doesn't match the great King Memphis.'
