Ancient Egypt, a gorgeous New Kingdom era. Carol and Bonnie, girls from the 20th century, were pulled by a mysterious force beyond time and space to over 3,000 years ago. Carol and the courageous young Egyptian king, Memphis, love each other and are determined to live together. Now, with the knowledge from the 20th century, Carol is worshiped as the daughter of the Nile. The neighboring countries who attempted to conquer Egypt want to snatch her away. Carol was abducted and taken to Assyria, and in order to keep her purity, she ate poisonous flowers. A seriously injured Memphis took Carol back from Assyria's Algon and fled toward the desert. The Hittite prince, Izmir, when after them but was caught in quicksand. Memphis hugged Carol as they returned back to Egypt, passing through the ancient oasis state.
"Although I didn't see the end of Prince Izmir with my own eyes, we have successfully gotten rid of the Hittite army," Memphis said, riding his horse while holding Carol. Bonnie was on one side of him, while Minue was on the other. "Let's go to the green state and join General Honshu."
"Forward!" Minue ordered the Egyptian soldiers.
'Prince... the Hittite army, too...' Carol and Bonnie thought, feeling sorry for them even though they were enemies. Quicksand was not a fun way to die.
"General Honshu is waiting for us at the green state," Memphis said. "Move! Forward!"
"Follow the king closely!" Unas said.
"General Honshu is waiting for us at the Jericho green state. When we arrive there, treat the injured soldiers and rest, quick!" Memphis said.
"Let's go quickly to Jericho green state!" Minue said.
'Prince Izmir is trapped inside the quicksand, including the Hittite army, how are they now?' Carol wondered.
'It's possible... they may not actually die... not from drowning in the quicksand, anyway...' Bonnie thought, considering what she knew about quicksand. 'Unlike in the movies, quicksand is denser than the human body. People and animals can get stuck in it, but they don't get sucked down to the bottom—they float on the surface. Our legs are pretty dense, so they may sink, but the torso contains the lungs, and is buoyant enough to stay out of trouble. If you do find yourself stuck in quicksand, the best idea is to lean back so that the weight of your body is distributed over a wider area. Moving won't cause you to sink. In fact, slow back-and-forth movements can actually let water into the cavity around a trapped limb, loosening the quicksand's hold. Getting out will take a while, though... But if they keep calm, they can probably do it, however, it should give us a good head start even if they do manage it...'
"We gave Algon a devastating blow, but I personally didn't see the end of Prince Izmir. It's a bit disappointing," Memphis said.
"Prince Izmir he..." Carol said then she noticed she had blood on her hand from touching one of Memphis's wounds. "Kya! Blood..." 'Memphis's whole body is injured'
"Quick!" Memphis ordered his men.
"I thought everyone's life is precious, but, if prince Izmir is alive, he will kill Memphis," Carol said. "No!" she hugged him. 'No, Memphis! Why must there be a war? I only want to live happily with you forever. Why must things inevitably turn into a war?' She began to faint. 'The ancient kings have always dreamed of conquering.'
"Ah! Are you hurt? Carol!" Memphis said anxiously when he felt her go limp.
"What is it?" Bonnie asked, riding closer to them. "Oh no!" she said when she saw how terrible Carol looked.
"We're near Jericho green state, we will treat you there, please hold on for a little bit!" Memphis told Carol.
"Memphis!" Carol gasped. "I love you, Memphis!"
