"Carol, please come with me!" Memphis said, pulling her up onto his horse with him.

"You're going to make me fall!" Carol cried. "Hold onto me tight!"

"I'm going, too!" Bonnie said. She already knew without asking that the pharaoh wouldn't leave Carol behind, because he was obviously still worried she would run away—not without good reason—so she had to go with them, in case Carol needed her.

"You can ride with me!" Unas said, helping her up onto his horse.

"Thanks!" Bonnie said. She noticed that Imhotep, Minue, the high priest, Isis, and Ari were also coming along. "..." She hoped Isis wasn't going to cause trouble.

'He's afraid that I'll run away!' Carol thought, holding tight to Memphis so she wouldn't fall while he galloped at full speed.

"Unas, who dared to dig up my father's tomb? Have you caught the culprit?" Memphis asked urgently.

"Our soldiers are searching for them!" Unas said.

'Then I'm about to go to the same place that I've gone to with Bonnie and my friends... In there, I saw the sarcophagus that had Memphis's mummy in it... It's a pity that the sarcophagus has yet to be brought back to the university; it has been opened by those thieves and taken away,' Carol thought. 'We're still not sure if it was Memphis's mummy...'

"Hurry! There's the royal valley!" Memphis said as they drew closer to their destination.

"The pharaoh is coming!" the soldiers who were there called. "Long live! Long live!"

'I wonder if I can interfere and change history...' Carol thought as they dismounted from their horses. 'Such as protect Memphis from his demise...?'

"How much damage was there?" Memphis asked the soldiers, leaving her side to talk to them.

"Your highness, the main entrance was destroyed... but luckily we got here early, so very few things were lost..." a soldier reported.

"Who discovered this?" Memphis asked.

"Yes, that man ascertained this," the solider said, pointing out a young man who seemed to still be a teenager. He had light, long curly hair that was pulled into a ponytail. "He fortunately came through here..."

"Long live the pharaoh!" the young man said, kneeling and bowing to Memphis.

"Well done. What's your name?" Memphis asked, going over to him.

"My name is Ruka; I'm a merchant," the young man said. "I'm very happy to be of use to you..."

'Hm? He doesn't look very Egyptian to me... is he a foreign merchant? What would he be doing here?' Bonnie wondered.

'Oh! It's the entrance to the tomb...' Carol thought when she spotted where the tomb had been broken into.

'So this is Carol and Bonnie... The rumors are not wrong, they both have an uncanny beauty,' Ruka thought, looking at the two girls. 'No wonder it's made many infatuated!'

"Carol, I'll let you visit the tomb of the royals... Bonnie may come as well," Memphis said.

'Treating me like an afterthought again...' Bonnie thought, but she followed the two of them into the tomb.

"Oh, I've seen it! It's scary! I don't want to anymore!" Carol said.

'Carol, what are you saying!?' Bonnie thought worriedly. 'If they found out we were involved with the digging up of a royal tomb in the future, won't it get us into trouble with them?'

"How have you seen it before?" Memphis asked Carol.

"Oh my God! I remember...!" Carol said, paling. 'Professor Brown said that he died very young! Is Memphis really going to die...?' she wondered, looking at him. 'If so, I pity him...! He's still so young and good-looking! If a guy like him died, it would be such a waste!' She leaned closer to him, almost hugging him. Memphis smiled. 'No...! Don't die!' she thought, trembling.
