Chapter 3: Scary Movie

The trio is now comfortable and ready to watch movies. Earth sits on a cushion on the floor in front of Fluke and Ohm, who are sitting on the 2-seater couch. The only light in the room is coming from the TV monitor and some street lamps a little farther outside. Movie in progress with small jump scares here and there.

Now we are deep in the movie and the scariest parts are about to.... "AAARRRGHHHH!!" a big burly loud scream, and then a chuckle. Earth looks behind him and sees his big ass older brother curled up, against Fluke who at this stage is canning himself with laughter.
"Phi, what's wrong with you?!! This part is not even that scary and there you are acting like a big baby at your jurassic age! How embarrassing?", Earth scolds her brother.
Ohm looks at Fluke, who at this time is trying to hold his laughter.
"Um, I'm sorry. I - I d-didn...I didn't meant too...". Ohm says, in embarrassment.
"It's OK". Fluke says softly and smiles. Ohm, seeing the smile, just melts. "An angel", Ohm allows his mind to wander off into dreamland.
Fluke is just in awe. Here is this tall, strong, hot guy holding onto him like a child. "Cute, so cute", Fluke thinks to himself.

"Mghrm mgrhm...you can let go now, P'Ohm", Fluke reminds Ohm.
"Oh, uh, yeah, I'll just go get some water". Ohm tries to excuse himself.
"But there is water here, P'Ohm". Fluke says teasingly to Ohm while dangling a bottle of water between his fingers.
"Oh, yeah, right. Thanks", Ohm says.

While this mini scene was playing out, Earth had excused himself to use the loo.

Earth comes back to the living room. "Can we now continue the movie?", Earth asks.
"I think we should watch the other one. We don't want baby Ohm here to have nightmares". Fluke jokes and draws out a laughter from Earth.
"Hey, I'm not a baby", Ohm retorts.
"Yeah right, you were about to cry not so long ago", Earth continues to tease.
"Don't worry P'Ohm, I will protect you", Fluke flirtingly whispers and Ohm blushes. If it wasn't dark, we'd be seeing Ohm's cheeks turning red. He is intrigued at this angel who's not in the least bit shy, openly flirting with him. "Am I , reading too much into nothing? What if he's just joking around and not flirting? Ohm calms himself.

After watching the movies, they trio decides it's time to sleep.

Alone in his room, Ohm can't get Flukes image out of his head. He's lying on his back just smiling to himself trying to make sense of what just happened. "Was he really flirting with me? Nah, couldn't have been. He's only met me today". Even though Fluke and Ohm only met today, Ohm has seen Fluke on pictures that Earth would send him. He always though Fluke was kind of cute, "but that was nothing compared to how he looks in person. He's so beautiful", Ohm thinks to himself and just then he realizes he has a crush on Fluke. Now how is he going to handle this? Fluke is his little brother's best friend. "It would be weird if I start pursuing him. Earth would kill me. It's too soon anyways". He shakes off his body as he tries to come back to his senses.

Across the hallway is Earth's bedroom. The boys are having a late night chat about this and that, when Fluke suddenly asks with keen interest, "So how old is P'Ohm? You hardly spoke about him with me?
"Oh, He's 26" Earth answers.
"How come you hardly talk about him?", Fluke comes with a follow up question.
"No reason really. I just thought there wasn't much to say about him. My brother is quite boring. There's nothing interesting to say about him", Earth answers nonchalantly.
"But have you ever talked about me with him...I mean you and I are best friends so you must have...you know?" Fluke asks, trying to sound hypothetical.
"I talked about you a lot with him. He always asked what you and I were up to and always asked for our pictures together", Earth discusses.
"Oh, really? So he is seen me before?", Fluke asks eagerly. "I wonder what he thinks about me", Fluke wonders to himself.
"Yes, he seen you in photos", Earth answers. He quickly sits up on the bed with raised eyebrows, "wait a sec. Why are you all of a sudden asking about Phi? You don't have a crush on him, do you?", Earth asks Fluke while glaring him down.
"No, of course not. I don't have a crush on him. That's absurd. And besides, he's your brother. That'd be weird", Fluke, discouraged and disappointed by his friend's reaction, shoots back in one breath.
"Good" Earth sighs in relief. "Let's sleep now. Tomorrow is Saturday. We have a lot to do", Earth continues.
"He doesn't look like the boring type. He could pass as model no problem. He look like he works out and he's tall, adorable too with that dimple ...". Fluke stops his trail of thoughts when he looks at Earth who is already in la la land. "Earth is my best friend and I have to respect the boundaries. My friendship with him is more important. And besides, I only met P'Ohm today. Nothing special", he tries to convince himself. He lets out a sigh before closing his eyes.

THE NEXT MORNING

The younger boys take turns to take their showers before they head down to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.

"Oh, there is already someone in the kitchen. Smells really nice", Fluke says excitedly.
Earth runs down quickly. "Phi, you're still here. What are you still doing here", Earth prods.
"As you can see, Nong, I'm making breakfast for you and Fluke", Ohm points to the obvious and at the same time peers behind Earth trying to find Fluke.
"OK, OK, finish up and go already, Phi. You've already ruined our fun", Earth whines to his brother.
"Ouch, that hurts, Nong", Ohm says placing his hand on his heart.
"You know what I mean, Phi. I'm not trying to hurt your feelings . You know I love you, right? And you must know that this is a celebratory moment for us after finishing our final exams", Earth says trying to sooth his brother's feelings.
"I know, I know, but you know mom and dad asked me to babysit you guys", Ohm smirks.
"We're adults now, we don't need a babysitter. Now go", Earth says trying to push him out.
"Wait, where will he go so early in the morning, Earth", Fluke a little hurt for some reason, asks out of curiosity.
"Oh, I didn't tell you. The company that Phi works for gave him an apartment close to work so he stays there. Now he's here because our parents asked him to 'babysit ' us", Earth explains
"Oh, OK", Fluke says.
"OK, OK, I'll leave now. You two must behave yourselves". Ohm says. Before he walks out he decides to steal one last look at Fluke. Fluke had the same thought and just like that, their eyes lock. Ohm can't help but get lost in those beautiful big doe eyes. He's melting.
"Bye Phi, see you later!", Earth shouts.
"OK bye.

The younger boys are having a blast this weekend, playing games, watching movies and walking the dogs. Of course Ohm drops by from time to time to check on them, but mostly to see, Fluke. Call it infatuation.

The final results are out and everyone did well. They all passed. Now they need to get ready to start their internships in order to graduate.

Earth will be doing his internship at a local modeling agency, which he is very excited about because he just love everything that had to with fashion. Fluke will start his at one of the country's, if not the world's, most sought after hotels in the Sales & Marketing
