Chapter 29: Memories Of You

"You've always been a big baby. Remember that time I had to protect you from a scary movie? ", Fluke asks.
"Oh, come on baby, that doesn't c... Wait...Baby what did you just say?" Ohm asks, thinking his ears are deceiving him. He makes Fluke sit to face him as he seeks clarity.

"I said you're a big baby", Fluke replies not realising what he'd just said.
"Not that. The part about the scary movie", Ohm says.
"You mean the time you got scared watching a horror movie? Yes, that time I told you I'd protect you..". That was the first day Fluke met Ohm and now tears are welling up in his eyes at the realization of the first memory.

"Baby, what else do you remember? Tell me. Do you remember anything else?" Ohm asks eagerly.
Fluke tries to think...but says nothing. "P'Ohm, I'm a little tired now. Can we go back inside please? ", Fluke asks as he gets up on his feet. Ohm does the same. He then puts in arms on Fluke's shoulders and looks at him lovingly. "It's OK, if you don't remember everything right now, baby. Don't push yourself", Ohm says.
Fluke smiles at Ohm, then takes and holds Ohm's hand. As they start walking, the lights in the gazebo come on, and there Ohm sees the rest of the family standing just outside the gazebo looking at them with smiles on their faces.

"Surprise!!!", they all shout. Ohm is taken aback. First he wondered where they were earlier, and now he's asking himself if they'd been here all along. He looks at Fluke and Fluke gives him a beautiful smile and says, "you didn't think that our evening would end so quickly, did you? Come with me, I have more planned for us", Fluke says as he drags Ohm to the gazebo.
The gazebo is beautifully decorated, just like the rest if the garden. Fairy lights, lanterns and white drapes. It looks romantic. Everyone is looking at them proudly and lovingly as they walk inside the gazebo.

"Baby, what is this? This all too much for one night, love. You really didn't need to do this. I'm the one who's supposed to do this for you", Ohm says, feeling silly for not being the one making Fluke feel special.
"P'Ohm, you've done so much for me already. Please let me do this for you too. This is for me as well. For us. I also want to introduce you to someone", Fluke says. The smile not once leaving his face.
"It wouldn't be complete without an officiant, now would it? ", Fluke adds.
"What do you mean? ", confused, Ohm asks.
"We need an officiant to lead our wedding, silly", Fluke replies.
"Our wedding, this is our wedding?", Ohm asks, a smile creeping onto his lips. Fluke nods. Ohm picks Fluke up l by the waist and twirls him around as Fluke giggles. Ohm giggles and everyone claps in celebration. The officiant clears his throat as he tries to get their attention. With that Ohm puts Fluke down and tries to gather his composure.

"Shall we begin", the officiant asks looking at Fluke and Ohm. They both nod.
"Before we begin, Fluke, I believe you have something to say?", the officiant asks looking at Fluke. Fluke nods, then looks at the family and then at Ohm.

"P'Ohm, the reason I'm standing here right now is because of you. Your love, your patience and your encouragement is what has brought us here tonight. You asked me what else I remember, right?" Fluke asks. Ohm furrows his eyes, surprised, but also curious.
