Chapter 10: "He Loves You, You Know"

All that Ohm and Fluke have been doing of late is suppressing their feelings for each other causing themselves heartaches. They are so close to each other, yet so far. What do you do when your favourite candy is right in front of you but you can't eat it? Over the weeks their feelings grew stronger and it was becoming awkward in the office, which was so frustrating for Ohm. He thought he could endure the six months and that he'd be able to confess his feelings for Fluke after his internship, but it's getting harder and harder. Of course they'd flirt with each other when they're alone, but that is all they could do.

Ohm had confided on Earth about his feelings for Fluke. Earth was apprehensive at first, because Ohm had made Fluke cry once before, but he new he couldn't stand in the way of his friend's and brother's happiness. He grew tired of Ohm crying on him because he didn't want to confess. Earth also didn't feel it was his place to meddle.
"Have you ever heard of secret office romances, Phi? Earth asks his brother at last. "You can date secretly until Fluke finishes his internship. Haven't you watched any KDramas?", Earth continues.
"How can I be sure that Fluke likes me. Yeah we're friendly with each other, but he's never hinted at anything", Ohm says worriedly.
"I knew you were boring, but I didn't think you'd be dumb too, Phi", Earth teases. "How do you not see it? Earth asks.
"See what Nong?". He really is clueless, isn't he?
"HE LOVES YOU, YOU KNOW!!" Earth blurts out. "Like you, he's worried about the same things", Earth continues looking at his brother.
Ohm looks at Earth with wide eyes, in disbelief. "Wait, did you just say that Fluke likes me? Did he tell you this?". Ohm asks not wanting to misunderstand.
"No, he doesn't like you. He is in love with you and you are with him too. Just tell him that already. Both of you are dying inside and you are both making me sick. I'm tired of you crying on
me", Earth says with a sigh.
"Hey, it's not that easy. Have you confessed your feelings yet to that model? What's his name again", Ohm tries reverse psychology.
"Well unlike you I know how to shoot my shot", Earth say as he sinks into his chair. They're at the coffee shop next to La Torre Azzura waiting for Fluke, who's wrapping up the reports. Fluke is done and he quickly runs to one of the cloak rooms to change into more comfortable clothes because he's going out for dinner with Earth. Done. Now he runs to the coffee shop worried that Earth would have been waiting for too long. When Fluke saw that Ohm was also there, he start walking a little slow, biting his bottom lip, which is his habit when he's nervous. Ohm has picked on this too. "Cute", Ohm would always think to himself. So Fluke reaches table a jumps in Earth for a big squeeze. "Do I not get one too?", Ohm asks with a hint of Jealousy. Fluke just looks at him and smiles. "Dammit that smile again". Fluke has the ability to just stir something in Ohm, where he stops thinking straight. Fluke and Earth couldn't stop talking to each other. They're catching up on each other's days, progress with P'Kao, you name it. Ohm is just sitting there feeling like a third wheel.

"OK, OK! Can we just go now already?" Ohm interrupts.
"Wait, I thought we're going out for dinner, Coo?", Fluke asks surprised waiting for clarity.
"We are...at Phi's house!", Earth says excitedly while clapping his hand. Fluke grabs Earth by both elbows and moves him to the side. "I thought only you and I are going for dinner. Now what's this? P'Ohm's house?", Fluke is concerned.
"Surprise!", Earth screams. "Come, it will be fine. He doesn't bite"

Fluke is surprised that Ohm's house is on top of La Torre. They use the 'secret' entrance and walk in. Fluke is amazed at how how spacious the penthouse is. It is warm, and welcoming. Homely. He is taking it all in.

Fluke is trying to make sense of the Ohm he met at Earth's house, the one who looked casual and was scared to watch a horror movie, a bumbling mess and the one he met at work. The one he met at work was serious and formal and lives in this penthouse. Earth is sort of guiding Fluke inside as he is walking behind him with his hands of his shoulders. He literally sits him on the couch.

"Phi is cooking for us. He's an amazing cook", Earth says moving on to the kitchen. Ohm is already in the kitchen arranging his ingredients.
"Phi, I'm going now", Earth says to Ohm.
"Wait, where are you going? Are you not going to eat?", Ohm say with a surprised look.
"I am, but not with you two. I have a date with P'Kao",
"But...". Ohm tries to protest, but Earth stops him.
"This is your chance. Don't mess it up", Earth says before he leaves the kitchen. He walks to Fluke and tells him that he's just going to the store because Ohm forgot to buy one of the ingredients.
"I know you love cooking too, so go see if you can help him out". Earth walks out of the house as Fluke makes his way to the kitchen. He hadn't noticed how big the kitchen was when he entered. It's every cook's dream kitchen. Fluke smiles to himself admiring the kitchen. "Beautiful". Ohm says to himself looking at Fluke's smile.
"What are cooking, P'Ohm", Fluke asks and Ohm explains.
"Here. Give it a taste", Ohm says bringing the spoon to Fluke mouth, who slightly opens his mouth, feeling shy and all. Ohm puts the mouth in Fluke's mouth, with their eyes locked into each other's, but spills some of it on the side of Fluke's mouth.
"Oh oops. Let me get that", Ohm says, this time allowing his eyes to leave Fluke's, now looking at Fluke plump pink lips. Ohm slightly bites the corner of his bottom lip, as if trying to control the urge. He moves closer to Fluke leaving almost no distance between them. Hearts are beating fast now because of their closeness. The breathing a little heavier. Faces are flushed. Ohm, move his right hand to Fluke's faces and with his thumb, rubs Fluke's mouth, where he'd messed. He rubs it gently not letting go of his gaze. "There. All clean now"...
