Chapter 13: Graduation

It's finally graduation. Fluke and Earth could not be more elated. The day is going smoothly and both sets of parents are there and so are some of the friends Fluke and Earth made at their work places. Sam is of course there beaming with pride at Fluke she grown to love Fluke like a little brother. Fluke has grown close to his colleagues and considers them his extended family. The ceremony has started, but there's one person who's still not here yet. He'd promised that he'd be there. This is the day that he planned on making his relationship with Fluke public, but he was unfortunately held up as he had to meet with Mr Nuttakul Suwan, the owner of La Torre Azzura. He had flown in from Italy an insisted on seeing Ohm personally to thank him for turning things around and La Torre. Had is not been for Ohm, the hotel could have been forced to close it's doors. And now it looks like he might not even make it. Fluke understood this and even encouraged Ohm to go.

The graduates get their awards and qualifications. After the ceremony ended, everyone was taking pictures and chatting around on the field until everyon around Fluke gasped and went quiet. Fluke is wondering why everyone is acting strange, oblivious to what's happening behind him. It took Earth motioning him to look behind him. As Fluke turns around, he sees the biggest flower bouquet in front of him, almost the same size as him.

He covers his mouth in disbelief with tears (of joy) streaming down his face as he sees the person behind the bouquet.

"Congratulations, baby. You did it!", Ohm is beaming with pride. "P'Ohm...but what about your meeting?" Fluke is worried.
"I'm sorry I'm late, love. Today is your important day. We'll talk about work later", Ohm answers. Fluke's colleagues are stunned, except for Sam. They had no idea that OhmFluke was a thing until today. But they are all so happy at the discovery. Sam is  the one who explains everything, drawing coos and shrieks from the group.

"Thank you, P'Ohm. But when did you get time to do all this?", Fluke asks. "When it comes to my baby, I will make time even when there is isn't any".
"Ooww...listen to that P'Kao. Now why can't you do that for me too. All you brought today is your grumpy face",

Earth complains to his boyfriend as they watch the fiancés getting lost in their own little world. This draws laughter from the people around them

"I'm proud of you, kid. I love you", Ohm says while holding Fluke in a warm embrace. "I love you too, P'Ohm. Thank you for being here with me today".
"I told you I'm sticking around for life. You can't get rid of me", Ohm says, not letting go of the embrace. The two are so caught up in each other they forget where they are for a while.
"Ehr...ughrm"...Kao interrupts. "Bro, you're making some of feel insecure here with your grand gestures" Kao says looking a Earth who in turn pouts, but still understands. Earth knows that Kao is a reserved person and that what he does not show in public, he makes up for it when it's just the two of them.

After taking many more pictures, the lovers decide it was time to go as Ohm has made more plans to celebrate his Fluke's achievements. They plan to celebrate privately, away from the prying eyes. So they make their way out heading to Ohm's place. Ohm carries the bouquet out as it was too big for Fluke to carry

The joy cannot be contained.
