Chapter 9

While shadow was in the middle of his shower he heard the front door open downstairs continued with talking he assumed that the others where here so he started to wrap his peaceful shower short and dried himself off And fixing his quills he didn't face them upwards like he did before in his normal body he just kept it the way sonic had it, it looked better that way

once shadow was satisfied he gathered his things and headed downstairs wearing nothing since the gloves and socks he was wearing got dirty it didn't really matter if he wore anything anyway since male Mobians don't really need to wear clothes in the first place

Once shadow reached the stairs the voices got louder than what he heard from the bathroom it was as if there was yelling
CRASH
Shadow froze for a second at the sound he wasn't expecting to hear without thinking he ran down those stairs faster than he could even think practically jumping over all the steps, and was met with a somewhat unsurprising scene.

Sonic was thrown into a wall knocking down some pictures breaking the glass which explains the sound, and there was also an angry Amy standing in front of him with her hammer out ready to make another swing on the poor hedgehog there were also others there like knuckles, cream, cheese, and vanilla

Cream and vanilla where trying to calm down the pink hedgehog while cheese was trying to hold her arm back from swinging her piko-piko hammer at 'shadow' knuckles on the other hand just watched the scene as Amy was about to commit a murder it really was a good thing that shadow was able to use sonics speed because that hammer was coming down fast, sonic shut his eyes tight and prepare himself for impact it was the only other thing he could do in that moment he couldn't use shadows powers or run away since he didn't know how to use the air shoes and they were also on the other side of the room.

Just then sonic felt a breeze and arms wrapped around him holding him close he carefully opened his eyes to see what happened

The first thing he saw was Amy with her hammer dug into the ground messing up the floor and to think that could have been him, sonic looked up to see who had magically saved him which he was met with a familiar looking hedgehog.
It was shadow and the look on his face made a shiver go down sonics spine, shadow was beyond pissed which was a weird sight from where everyone else was standing but everyone other than Amy got the hint to back off

"Sonic! I know you didn't mean to push me on purpose i forgive you" Amy said and hugged shadows arm since he was still holding sonic, shadow gritted his teeth trying to hold back from pushing her to the floor like last time but he knew sonic wouldn't like it if he did I guess that dream came in handy after all "um shadow can you put me down please" sonic said a little embarrassed, shadow put sonic gently on the floor and pried Amys hands off his arm which she whined about "sonic what's wrong with you do you not love me anymore!" Amy said

But shadow wasn't listening in fact he didn't care what she had to say it was nonsense anyway.

"Sonic are you ok?" Shadow asked "yeah, im fine its just small bruises" sonic said with a smile which shocked everyone well everything that happened just now was shocking especially the attitude change and not to mention the scene back at the hospital, after a while the only person that came to a realization came forward "Mr. sonic?" A small rabbit girl came up to sonic the real sonic with a slightly uncertain tone of voice

"Yeah that's right cream!" Sonic said and patted cream on her head which made the little rabbits face light up "sonic?" Vanilla said standing behind cream "what happened to you?" Vanilla said "thats what i wanted to tell you all me and shadow switched bodies" sonic explained "if this is some kind of joke its not funny" knuckles said chiming in "its not, tails and Eggman are trying to figure this out-" sonic said but just then a certain pink hedgehog tackled him to the ground with a loud thud

But this time it wasn't out of hate "oh sonic!" Amy said tears in her eyes "I'm so sorry I didn't know!" Amy cried while sonic was hardly able to breath "its okay Amy, can you let me-" sonic said struggling, but just then shadow somehow pulled Amy off the poor hedgehog "go?" Sonic continued while shadow held his hand out for sonic to take which he did "uh thanks" sonic said rubbing the back of his now injured head.

Shadow just stared giving sonic a face he couldn't read which confused him "ok I believe you, why didn't you just say that before?" Knuckles asked the obvious "because you wouldn't believe me! Not like this" sonic said gesturing to himself which slightly offended shadow but he understood "um no offense" sonic said finally seeing the look he was getting from the other

"How did this happen?" Vanilla asked afraid thinking it could be permanent "wellll umm-" "it was his fault but we're not completely sure how it happened" shadow interrupted earning a glare from the other but it didn't faze him

'He's not wrong though..'

Yay another chapter i really like posting these i really do i just cant wait to get closer to the end i have almost all of the plot thought out already i just need to do it😅
