Chapter 3

"Faker what the fuck did you do?" Shadow yelled grabbing sonics shoulder harshly not realizing his headache went away "why do you always assume that its my fault!" Sonic said slapping shadows now azure colored arm away "well who else is to blame!" Shadow growled while rouge just watched the two hedgehogs fight this was all so unreal "will you two quit it!" Rouge said with her hands on her hips glaring at the two hedgehogs who were pulling at each others quills

"He started it!" Sonic said "your so childish" shadow said rouge glared at them more making them both stop shadow just crossed his arms and looked away "I'll call tails and tell him what's up he might be able to fix this" rouge said turning to the kitchen to grab her phone "and don't fight" Rouge said looking over her shoulder and the two didn't say a word.

Rouge sighed as she walked into the kitchen and picked up her phone when she turned it on she had multiple missed calls when she was about to dial in the kits number her phone started to buzz "speak of the devil" rouge said answering the call and putting it up to her ear "hello-" "rouge have you seen sonic, he ran away and i cant find him!?" Tails said interrupting rouge "tails sonic is fine he's with me at shadows house, and i need you to come over it's important" rouge said "ok im on my way, what happened is sonic ok?" Tails said rouge could hear the sound of his tails twirling from the other side of the phone

Rouge peeked out into the living room where the two hedgehogs where still standing in the same place glaring at each other, sonic stuck his tongue out at the now azure hedgehog, shadow gritted his teeth he was trying to be the bigger person

Sonic smiled using his normal cocky grin making shadow immediately punch him causing a whole fist fight in the house.

Tails heard the commotion over the phone making him worry "what's happening?" Tails said  "is sonic alright?" Tails continued "um, more or less" rouge said "what's that suppose-" "actually tails i have to go see you when you when you get here" rouge said in a sweet and calm tone but completely changing to an angered expression when she looked at the two hedgehogs wrestling in the living room "i said. no. Fighting!" Rouge yelled  pulling the two apart holding them back by their ears "you two are too old to act like children, whats happening right now is serious so wait until tails gets here." rouge said with a serious tone loosening the grip on the hedgehogs ears letting them tug away

"I understand if you two are under some stress over the situation but you guys have to try and get along, once you two are back to normal you guys can do whatever you want i don't care." Rouge said rubbing her temples with her free hand resting on her hip
*knock knock knock
"I'll be right back don't go anywhere" rouge said and went to answer the door.

After rouge left it was completely quiet sonic and shadow where standing waiting rather impatiently looking away from each other, sonic sighed "shadow rouge is right" sonic said facing shadow "what?" "Thats right we need to get along for now, at least until we're back in our bodies" sonic said shadow stared he didn't want to admit it but sonic was right it would be easier that way "fine, but when we get back to normal we have nothing to do with each other" shadow said crossing his arms sonic smirked holding out his hand for shadow to shake, which is exactly what shadow did.

"Sonic where are you?" Tails said walking into the room "tails hey buddy" sonic said walking over to his little brother and ruffling his bangs sonic was happy but tails was the opposite he was more terrified than happy "s-shadow what are you doing?" Tails stuttered sonic had forgotten that he looked like shadow he knew something like this was out if character for the ebony and it would be strange if he actually did it "oh sorry tails I forgot" shadow said laughing nervously and rubbing the back of his now dark quills

"H-huh forgot what?" Tails said "I'm not shadow I'm actually sonic, thats shadow" sonic said pointing at the person who was currently in his body who was now sitting on the couch with his arms crossed and eyes closed "its true tails thats why we need your help" rouge said she understood that it was hard to believe "Is that why sonic was acting so weird in the hospital because it was actually shadow, I guess it makes sense but how did this happen?" Tails said confused this is the first time he's heard of such a phenomenon.

Rouge looked at sonic she still didn't know either "to be honest I'm not sure, it just.. happened" sonic said pausing in his sentence "well what was the last thing you remember from yesterday" tails asked "i don't remember much of anything just Eggman attacking" sonic said "what about you shadow?" Sonic said turning to the blue hedgehog "other than Eggman attacking I remember that idiots car flipping over and pushing us off the road" Shadow said

"Maybe it was Eggmans doing theres no other explanation" rouge said "its a possibility" tails said "well then lets give that Egghead an early visit" sonic smirked.
