"Hey sonic why don't you try looking around if your lucky you might bump into what we're looking for" Sonia said patting sonics shoulder "yeah that a good idea, maybe shadow could go along too" manic said the last part not really being a question "alright then, i don't mind going on a little stroll anyway" sonic said as he started walking with shadow soon following behind him "just dont get lost ok?" Sonia said "i wont, i have shadow with me!" Sonic said gesturing towards him with a thumbs up, and started walking through the forest only following the dirt trail.
"You really don't remember?" Shadow asked "uh yeah i don't but at least I remembered how to get here which was a relief" sonic said as he unzipped his bag "want one?" Sonic asked holding up one of his granola bars "no thanks" shadow said sonic shrugged his shoulders and threw the three bars into his bag "so thats what you picked? I didn't expect you to listen to the rules" shadow said "no Amy gave them to me, and you should know that i wont follow the rules, i have two chili dogs in my backpack" sonic said somewhat proud of himself "but you don't even get hungry anymore at least not wile your in my body" shadow said "yeah i know, that's because i brought them for you"
Sonic said as if it was obvious "why?" Shadow asked raising a brow "well knowing you you'll probably forget to eat, and i had to remind you to pack food for yourself" sonic said which shadow huffed "hey i have an idea!" Sonic said happily as he stopped walking "why don't you teach me now there's plenty of space!" Sonic said shadow wanted to argue but he did promise after a sigh he finally gave in "fine,but I'll only say it once" shadow said which sonic nodded "but first you need to calm down your a little too happy" shadow said with a smirk
"Right, right ok I'm calm" sonic said "lucky for you that this will be fairly simple, since my body is naturally able to convert my chaos energy to my rocket shoes it wont be hard to move the chaos from the core.." shadow said tapping a finger on sonic chest and moving it down causing sonic to shiver " down the body"stopping his finger at sonics stomach before removing it "and into the shoes" shadow said pointing down at the rocket shoes "you've been in my body long enough for it to feel like your own chaos so it will easy to manipulate" shadow said "then why didn't you tell me this before!" Sonic said doing as he was told "because its not that part that you need teaching.." shadow said
Sonic started up the rocket shoes but when his feet started to hover he lost balance and fell backwards "its trying keep your balance" shadow said slightly humored
"Heh a little help" sonic laughed sticking his hand out which shadow took and helped him up "try holding onto me this time" shadow said and sonic nodded as he started to hover holding shadows shoulder for support when he was able to stand straight on his own he let go and tried to walk but immediately regret it when he nearly fell once more
Luckily this time Shadow caught sonic by the arm And held his waist to keep him stable "dont be impatient you'll be able to walk by yourself soon" shadow smirked looking as if he was unfazed but unlike shadow sonic wasn't, he felt.. weird? his face felt hot so he knew he was blushing so he looked away hoping the other wouldn't notice, and tried to calm himself down shadow moved his hands to hold sonics "try walking now" shadow said sonic looked at shadow nervously "don't worry i wont let you fall" shadow reassured rolling his eyes sonic slowly skated forward as shadow moved along with him after a while shadow let go and let sonic do it himself
He was doing really well even managing to run around without worrying about falling "hey shads, Lets race!" Sonic said "you just learned to use the rocket shoes and now you want to race with me?" shadow said his face making it clear what his answer was "cmon shad i haven't ran in forever, at least one race" sonic said putting his hands together in front of his chest giving him puppy dog eyes "pleeaase" shadow raised a brow and crossed his arms
