"How do you know who I am?" Lilly asked. "You were a member of a guild before you were bought back to Avalon but the guardians reported that you never arrived. I didn't know Caledonia's guardians dropped you off here of all places?" he said.

"No, I came here on my own. If you must know I am a guardian dragon rider. Female riders are not welcome in Avalon and I for one isn't going to let them touch my dragon," Lilly said.

"So you chose to stay here in the forbidden forest?" the prince asked.

"Yeah besides it's where I grew up, some of the first memories I made were right here in this forest," Lilly said.

"So you don't know where you came from?" the prince asked.

"O I know where I came from I just chose not to go back because of Diamond. If I go back she will have to stay locked up and I suspect her help is needed more than ever. The two of us are a team but the dark creatures pose a threat that not many can see," Lilly said.

"You know of the dark creatures?" the prince asked.

"It was a dark creature that almost killed your little sister, my dear prince," Lilly replied.

"Wait there are dark creatures even here in the forbidden forest?" he asked.

"Yeah, and they have been growing stronger. That last one was the most power we have ever used," Lilly said.

"So they are even here but if I may ask who are you?" he asked.

"I don't think it's a good idea for you to know," Lilly said.

"Lilly we need to go, I fear if we don't go now your brother will find us," Diamond said to her threw their bond.

"I know, I will take what we need and we can go. Will you be able to lose them?" Lilly asked.

"Yeah they won't catch us but we need to move now," Diamond said.

"What is wrong now?" the prince asked.

"I have no intention of telling you who I am or getting rid of my dragon so with Avalon's guardians coming it's my time to leave," Lilly said.

"Wait where are you going?" the prince asked.

"If we are destined to meet we will meet once again soon but right now I need to protect my dragon she is special and I can not let anyone lock her up," Lilly said.

The prince watched as Lilly and her dragon took off into the sunset disappearing as fast as they appeared. "What's wrong your highness?" a rider asked.

"Avalon's men are coming, she left because she didn't want to give up her dragon," the prince said but as soon as he saw the crown prince of Avalon he realised the girl that just left looked a lot like the crown prince in front of him.

"It couldn't be could it?" the prince thought to himself.

"That girl is the princess of Avalon the one that died a long time ago," his dragon spoke to him through their bond.

"How did she end up in the forest if she knew who she was all along?" the prince asked his dragon. "I don't know the details but I suspect she found out who she was when Diamond became her partner and in Avalon. The princess is forbidden to have a dragon," his dragon told him.

"Yeah in the past any dragon the princess hatched was killed. I don't want a dragon hunt on my hands so let's keep her existence a secret for now," the prince told his dragon.

"It might be best, her dragon is royalty as well killing her would put all of mankind in danger," his partner said.

Looking shocked at his dragon the prince asked, "your telling me the dragon king will hunt the humans down right?"

"Yeah not a pretty picture," his dragon spoke.

"What are you doing here in my kingdom?" Avalon's crown prince asked.

"Why hello to you as well prince Erik. I just came hunting down the bandits that took my sister. As you can see she is safe so we will be leaving now," he said.

"Bandits you mean the group that sells children as slaves?" he asked.

"Yes, she and my mother were on their way to a party when they were attacked. They left my mom killed some of the guards and took her. My father would be willing to reward the men that freed her but seeing as she got away on her own. We won't be rewarding anyone," the prince said.

"Take your men and leave the kingdom Leon," Prince Erik demanded.

A few hours later the prince landed outside his father's castle. Everyone was excited to have the missing princess back but the prince knew the message he was about to tell his father wasn't going to be what anyone expected.

"I see you have bought your sister back to us?" his father said.

"Yes, but the one that saved her life isn't with me. In fact if possible I would like to talk to you in private about this matter father," the prince asked.

"Very well leave us," the king ordered.

With everyone out of the room, the prince told his father that Avalon's long-dead princess saved his sister's life. "Why on earth is she alive?" the king asked.

"Father her dragon is royalty, if Avalon kills her we will have more than just the dark creatures to worry about," the prince told his father. "So what now?" his father asked.

"She left Avalon to find a new location to call home. They don't know she is alive and she intends to keep it that way," the prince said.

The king took a deep breath and said, "So the kingdom of Magica has a new princess and air to the crown then?"

"Father what do you mean?" the prince asked.

"Long ago there was a kingdom ruled by a wise king and queen but the war destroyed the kingdom and the crown was lost. Avalon inherited the crown making the promise to keep the crown safe but they never intended to produce a princess for the kingdom now many moons have passed and finally Magica's princess has returned and you, my son were the first royal to meet her.
