Lilly Lionheart. The Lost Crown

Chapter 23

Leo was worried when he could not find Lilly. He found her talking to an old woman and her partner a unicorn the story sounded so familiar to him but the words the old one spoke were so true. 

He waited for them to finish talking for he didn't want to be rude but hearing the key to getting Lilly better he vowed to take her to the lake at once. Hoping it would free Lilly from the worries that clouded her mind. 

He smiled when he noticed Lilly wanted to protect the child within her and he somehow knew what the real problem was. The problem was that Lilly herself believed her power was gone. She herself believed it was all over. She believed her only role would be to have babies. Taking care of him cooking and cleaning. His role was to rule his role was to fight but the truth is further from all that. The truth is they are a team together they would achieve many things and only together would they make the impossible happen. 

Lilly's power was unique but only because she gained the mythical council's trust. The truth is he believed it was possible for anyone to gain their trust but not many does because many would want more and more power. People like his father, like Avalon's king, like the wizard. 

In trying to control everything you sometimes forget that there is always something that you can never control. His grandmother the old queen once told him that a wise king does not only lead with his mouth but also his hands. A wise king does not listen to one story but both stories. A wise king becomes a good leader when he takes care of everything and everyone.

 He also remembers her telling him that the one person in life that can destroy him isn't the most powerful person but the one with no power at all. For if a powerless person called him worthless, useless, a bad leader then truly that is what he would be forever more.  

Leo walked to where his wife was sitting and took off his jacket. He placed it around her shoulders and said, "Let's get you back to the camp and in bed, if you want to make a trip to the lake you will have to be rested," Leo said. 

"YOu would take me?" Lilly asked. 

"Yes, I don't believe in how Avalon does things in fact I think we should be a team. It took both of us to make this miracle and it will take both of us to protect this miracle," Leo said touching Lilly's swollen belly. 

"You really want me to have my power," Lilly asked. 

"I want you to be happy? and if you being happy means giving you your freedom then that's what will happen. Anything you want I will give it to you all you have to do is ask," Leo said. 

Lilly smiled and kissed her husband with a passion. Leo kissed back and as their kiss grew deeper their bond grew. Lilly felt her body heat up and Leo felt himself becoming aroused. 

He wanted to stop but Lilly started to beg. It wasn't long before he found himself pounding into her releasing his seed into her as she screamed his name over and over again. She came feeling a void filled within her. Leo carried Lilly back to camp and laid her down on his bed. 

"Where were you Leo?" his second in command asked. 

"Looking for my wife, as you can see I found her," Leo said. 

"What is the plan for today?" he asked. 

"A lake, I need you to find a lake that is well protected. We are moving camp and our next location needs to be difficult to find," Leo said. 

"Why?" the man asked. 

"Because the dark creatures aren't Mythicas doing but Avalon and well some of its surrounding kingdoms. We will be doing things differently and until we can prevent surrounding kingdoms from entering Mythica with ill will in mind we will keep our homes safe. I would like to build homes so that your families can move here soon and we need a place for Lilly to give birth," Leo said. 

"I see, well I will see what we can find," the men said as they left. 

"What is wrong with my rider?" Diamond asked. 

"She closed her mind thinking all is lost now we have to get her to open up and the only way to do that is to make her believe that this lake will make things work. Diamond for your bond to work you have to believe that this will work you have to force your way into her mind," Leo told the dragon. 

"What do you mean?" Diamond asked. 

"You and Lilly will be taking a bath in a lake hidden from the world. During this bath, she will be opening her mind and you will force your way into releasing all her mind blocks. You will break the seal that keeps her powers hidden. Reveal your power to her and she will be your rider once more," Leo said. 

"How will that work?" Diamond asked. 

"It will work because the elders said it will work. Once the seal is done the guardians will gather and Mytica will be a kingdom once again," Leo told Diamond. 

Leo looked at his wife's sleeping form and smiled. He would make sure she will be happy for many years to come. Her happiness was his goal from now on. 

"I want my mate, not fair that you get a taste and I don't," his dragon said. 

"Soon my friend, soon. We need to be sure that we can keep everyone safe because when you mate with Diamond she will be full of eggs soon after. She won't be able to fight until they are laid and as you know that means three months. We need to be ready for dark creatures and hunters," Leo told his dragons. 

"And surrounding kingdoms that might steal the dragon eggs," Thunder replied. 

"Yes, you are not wrong there," Leo told his dragon.
