Prince Leon looked shocked at Lilly before asking, "are you sure he said that?" he asked. "Yeah but I don't expect you to believe me. I find it hard to believe at times," Lilly said.

"Well let's keep this between us for now, no one needs to know but I do think my father wants to see you. You saved my sister and there is a reward for you to collect," prince Leon said.

"I don't know Leon if I attract too much attention. I might put Diamond in danger," Lilly said. "You already attracted a lot of attention Lilly you used a lot of power and it wouldn't be fair if we send you on your way without giving you time to rest first," Prince Leon said.

"Fine but as soon as we recover we will be on our way," Lilly said.

She followed Prince Leon into the palace but she had this feeling that it would be better for her to just leave the kingdom. "Diamond I can not shake this feeling," Lilly whispered through their bond.

"Yes, I know I feel the same thing but it would be rude not to meet with the king," Diamond said.

She entered the palace and was shocked to see the red carpet laying on the floor. It lead to a room where an old man with a golden crown on his head was sitting. Next to him was a lady dressed in a beautiful purple gown and a silver diamond tiara sat on her head.

"Son who is this lady you bring before us?" the queen asked.

"Father, mother this is Lilly Lionheart she is the one responsible for saving my sister and she is also the one that helped defeat the dark dragon. However, I am afraid the dark dragon that died today was the elder dragon that has been missing for the past three months. Duke, I am afraid he is no longer with us," the prince said.

"How did this happen?" the king demanded.

"Once a creature is turned into a dark creature there is no way for them to become pure again. I have tried but I haven't successfully helped one return," Lilly said.

"That's disappointing, and here I thought you were worthy of our trust but killing an elder dragon does not sit well with me. Even if there was no other choice," the king said.

"It wasn't my intention but I have asked several elders for help but no one has a solution. As far as I know, a cure for the dark creatures is not possible right now," Lilly said.

"Well, you keep telling yourself that little miss," a newcomer said as he walked into the room.

"What are you doing here Ronald?" Prince Leon asked. "I came to inform you that Avalon will be here to pick up their long-dead princess soon. We send them a message about her arrival," the man said.

"What, I thought I could trust you, Leon?" Lilly shouted.

"That is the prince to you," the man said.

Through her bond, Lilly shouted to Diamond. "My brother is coming Diamond, free yourself we need to go now," Lilly said.

"I thought their treatment was too good to be true. Next time I will trust my instincts," Diamond said.

Lilly turned around only to have the exit blocked. "Diamond I could use some help," Lilly said.

"I will be right there, Lilly," Diamond said.

Suddenly all the windows in the thrown room shattered and Diamond's roar could be heard. "Thank you for the offer prince but as I have told you. Diamond is too important and I can be responsible for a dragon hunt," Lilly said.

She jumped through the window and right onto Diamond's back. "Go, Diamond, before they catch us," Lilly shouted.

Diamond flew high into the sky and was gone in seconds. "Why would you do that Ronald?" Prince Leon asked.

"They have a right to know she is alive and if we keep her here we would be held responsible for her kidnapping," Ronald said.

"That's not your call to make, you told them she is their lost princess but we don't even know if it's true. Those that end up in the lost forest are usually criminals. Before telling someone what you think the truth is you should make sure it's really true," Prince Leon said.

My prince, you and I both know that she is of royal blood. She is their princess and she has acquired a forbidden crown. Avalon banished Magica's crown for a reason and she is aiming to awaken it. That is a punishable crime, her dragon should be taken away from her. She should be preparing for marriage not riding silly lizards with wings," Ronald said.

"Speak of our dragon like that again and you will be the one that is locked up," Leon warned Ronald.

"That is enough but, son he has a point. We should not get involved in their matters," the king said.

"You forget about the fact that Diamond's parents are the king and queen of dragons. If we touch diamond and lock her up it could result in a massive war with the wild dragons. How do you suggest we fight both of them at the same time," Prince Leon asked.

"Wait how is that possible?" the queen asked.

"Diamond is royalty, she bares the mark. The forest elder and even our own elder dragons recognized her. They had to show their respect on top of that Diamond has a dragon mate and his rider is Lilly's future husband as well as the chosen future king of Magica. It's already out of our hands," Prince Leon said.

"So her hand already belongs to someone it's just a matter of time before they find each other than," the queen said.

"Yes but what do we tell Avalon the truth, Lilly has no intention of giving up Diamond even if it means she will have to stay on the run for the rest of her life," Prince Leon said.

"What is this about my dead sister that has been found riding dragons?" Prince Erik shouted as he entered the palace of Caledonia.
