Mathew pov

"I have bad news....hanalee is losing memory" the doctor says ,

I have a confused look on my face so he continues
"The infection she has is so strong that her immune system can't keep up with it and it's getting through and attacking her brain cells and the part it is attacking now is her memory section,....im sorry"

"Well will she get it back?" I ask

Hanalee pov

The doctor came and checked on me today.
When he left he had a sad look on his face, but he has had that lately when he came to see me,the nurse comes in every morning and every night and asks me questions like where I'm from and how old am I and who is my family , but lately it has been harder to answer them, I sometimes don't remember and I apologize but, they just smile and say it's ok

I want to leave but the doctor says he doesn't know if I can ,says I need help to get better first , but I heard the nurses talking one day about how they don't think I will get better , they think he should let me go home and be happy for my time left , but I don't know what thy mean by time left , so I jut shrug them off and continue looking through my phone ,I see people that I don't remember , like I have a feeling I am supposed to know who they are but ... I don't . The only person I remember is Mathew .
This guy names jack sits in my room with me every night, he seems like a nice guy and I like him he's nice , he tries his best to explain who everybody is and what they mean to me , and apparently me and him were very close because he knows everything about me and he always tells stories about things we have done together.
I was liking through pictures on my phone and apprean fly I took allot , there is a picture of a boy with a guitar and he had brown her and brown eyes and his left eye is a bit lazy , there is a boy with all black hair and he is kinda pale with freckles and dark brown eyes , there is a boy who had bright blue eyes and then there is a mini one of him , there is also a boy who had tan skin with chocolates brown eyes and brown hair , there are a bunch of more pictures of me with different people but,
I came across this one picture of this boy with braces and a bandana and I was kissing his check a laughing
but I couldn't remember his name but he seemed so ..... Familiar

"Hey, um jack"

"Yea?" He replies pausing the movie he is watching

"Who is this " I ask holding up my phone , he looks at the picture and I see his face fall and a sad look spread across it , e quickly tries to cover it up but I already saw it

"He ........is um one of your best friends,taylor"he says looking down and scratching the back of his neck

"Closer than me and you?" I ask in disbelief , he chuckles and shakes his head and replies

"Not at first no...no ,we just umm, had out differences me and him" he says now looking back at his phone

I nod my head and look back at my phone

I want to talk to Taylor because I have a feeling jack isn't telling me everything
