Chapter 12

When we arrived at the carnival I got out the car and everyone decided that we would split into groups to avoid fan girls , I was grouped with Nash and I was surprisingly ok with that, but jack was by himself so he just chose a fan , we a agreed that you have to stay with the person that you were assigned to, we all agreed and went our separate ways

" I'm glad I got paired with you" Nash says in a serious voice , I look up at him and he looks down at me and I smile and so does he, we spent the next hour playing random carnival games bc Nash wanted to get me a giant bear but was terrible,

" Hey mads I need to get something out of the car but I will be back I promise" he said with a smile ,

" I believe you Nash " I saying smiling with a giggle, now that I think about it I might really like Nash I mean he is so sweet and he played games for an hour just for a bear for me to have.

I waited for about 20 minutes and Nash had still not returned ,so I decided that I would look for him , I walked through the booth area looking through all of them, when I got up to the actual carnival my heart shattered at what I saw............. Nash was on the Ferris wheel with another girl.

He lied to me

I broke down crying right there ,earning a few
Stares but I didn't care, I felt two strong arms wrap around me and I instantly knew it was jack,

"What did I do wrong" I ask jack in between sobs,

" You didn't do anything wrong he is a jerk mads, don't let him get to you" he whispered in my ear comforting me , I smiled up at him and wiped my face

" Where is that girl you chose bc you liked her" I asked with an eyebrow raised, and a smirk , just bc I was unhappy didn't mean I had to let jack suffer too. he sighed and looked down
And pointed to where Nash and that girl were, NASH TOOK JACKS GIRL!!!! I broke down in sobs again and jack looked confused,
" Why are you crying mads" he asked with worry in his voice,

" I was so consumed with myself that I didn't even notice that your crushed just like me "i said in between sobs ,he went to go hug me but I backed away, he looked kinda taken back and upset

"What's wrong mads" he asked me

" Your hurting jack and I can't make you hurt more by seeing me" I said still crying

"Mads It makes me happy when I get to be the one to comfort you " jack said raising and eyebrow and his lips tugging at a suppressed smile

" Well then In that case" I said walking up to his Arms and hugging him

" We are best friends right" he said in a low whisper that I don't think I was meant to hear and I am glad I finally got a best friend.

We enjoyed the carnival by ourselves for the rest of the night.
