Thea's P.O.V.

A few months have passed without any word from Miguel. It's like he disappeared but I knew that wasn't the actual case. He was somewhere here in New York and I wasn't sure what he was waiting for.

The Cobras have been causing a lot of problems in the area and some have even turned up dead. I wasn't sure what was going on but I was guessing Miguel was part of that too.

Aaron has been keeping up with his end of all of this. The FBI told him to stand down while they find Miguel but he was growing impatient and honestly, so was I.

"Hey Ethan, look at this."

I was bouncing back from departments. I was currently in homicide again trying to help Ethan and Maggie on a case since the FBI was working on finding Miguel.

He rolled his chair towards me, "Did you find something?"

I pointed down at the vases. "I feel like there's more to these vases. Look, if you zoom in, there's different numbers on each of them."

My phone started ringing. "Detective Woods."

"Thea, it's Gray. Can you come down here please. Meet me in the vault."

My eyes widened. "Alright, I'll be right there."

They called it the vault because there were no cameras or voice recorders in that room. Anything said was private and usually stayed between anyone in there.

I hung up my phone. "Gray needs me, I'll be back. Check on those numbers, maybe they're offshore counts or something?"

"I'm on it." Maggie confirmed.

I walked downstairs and was heading over to Gray's department when I heard my name being called out. I turned to see Matt running up to me with a smile on his face. "Hey."

"Hey Matt. How are you?"

"Good, busy. You?"

I groaned. "Same. What brings you over here?"

The night I sent Matt home after our dinner, I called him and told him I was ending our arrangement. I admitted to him that I slept with someone else and was completely honest about everything... except about who the man was. He opened up about how he developed some feelings for me along the way and told me his door was always open once I decided what I wanted and that's where we left it.

"Gray needs to speak with me."

"That's where I'm heading too. Must be big news."

"Hopefully it's something to do with Miguel."

"God, that would be so nice."

Matt smiled, "I told Torres he should keep you on this case full time. We would have caught this asshole by now."

I knocked on the vault door. "Awww, that's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me. I'm sure the FBI agents were thrilled you said that."

We both laughed as we were instructed to come in. Matt placed his hand on my lower back guiding me inside.

"Thank you both for coming." Gray said as Matt closed the door behind us.

Aaron was leaning up against the wall in the corner, glaring our way. I noticed Matt and I were still standing close and his hand was still on my back so I took a step to my right, watching as Aaron's eyes followed me.

"What's going on?" I questioned.

"Aaron asked for this meeting."

Aaron pushed off the wall so he was fully standing. "My guys found Miguel, he was in a house in the city actually. One that belongs to Andre."
