Thea's P.O.V.
When I called Silas to let him know Torres was escorting me to where Miguel was being held, he flipped.
I didn't really have a choice in the matter though and I was hoping this would help us find Aaron faster also.
Torres told me that Miguel was going to write a full confession about everyone he's killed and why… the only thing he wanted in return was to talk to me and the FBI agreed.
Gray was going with us. He would be behind the glass, watching with Torres and the other FBI agent. If Miguel tried anything, Gray was going to pull me out of there if I didn't pull myself out first.
I watched closely as they brought Miguel into the room I would be talking to him in. I studied his every move as they sat him down in the chair, strapped him down and handcuffed him to the table.
"Thea?" I looked over at Torres. "Put this in your ear. It's in case you need help in there. We were told not to enter until he was done talking with you."
"Or I can just do this by myself? This isn't my first nut case."
"Just put it in."
Rolling my eyes I grabbed the ear piece and placed it in my ear. Took a deep breath and walked into the room.
Miguel's emotionless face morphed into a full blown smile as he watched me walk in and close the door.
"Hello Thea. You are a hard person to get alone with all of your body guards watching over you all the time."
I stood up against the wall. I wanted to stay as far away from that man as I possibly could. "Why am I here?"
"Unplug that camera first."
I looked up at the camera facing the table Miguel was sitting at.
"It stays plugged in." Torres said in my ear.
"That only gets shut off when your lawyer is present." I informed him.
"Bene ergo conclusi iterum et moritur Aaron." (Well then I shut down again and Aaron dies.) He was speaking Latin again.
Aaron.
I walked over and unplugged the camera, ignoring Torres. At this point I was the only one that could get Miguel to talk and I needed to find out where Aaron was and if he was still alive.
"Thank you." He kicked the chair across from him out, "have a seat."
"I'll stand, thanks."
He chuckled, "the longer you play hard to get with me, the longer it's going to take to get to the point of why you're here and we don't have much time."
Clenching my jaw I walked over and had a seat, never once taking my eyes off of Miguel.
"Now, take out your earpiece." He tapped down at the table, showing me where to put it with a smile.
I rolled my eyes as I reached up, "Don't take-" I ignored Torres' demand again, took out the earpiece and placed it on the table.
"Happy?"
"Very. Now that I have your full attention."
"Great, now… where is he?"
"Ohh, straight to the point. I like that but you have to wait. He still has time, don't you worry. When I saw Aaron talk to you that night, I didn't realize what kind of role you would play in my plan."
"And what plan is that?"
"The death of Aaron Hale."
"Is he dead?"
