Thea's P.O.V.

A few weeks have past and Aaron was moving a lot better. His bruises and cuts were still visible but they were healing nicely and should be fully healed in another week or so.

Aaron left for Michigan to go see Hailey, a woman he saved from her ex fiance. Apparently Aaron made her some kind of promise for when she settled into her new life. He tried getting me to go with him again but I couldn't just get up and leave when I had work to do.

I regretted that decision though.

Sleeping in Aaron's bed without him just wasn't the same and even though he's been gone for a few days, I missed him.

"Thank you for coming in today." Matt said as we walked out of the interrogation room.

I nodded. "Well it is my job." I was called in to question a man in prison about a murder he was accused of commiting. The family had raised issues so I was going to look into it.

He chuckled, "Yeah. Good job in there, Woods."

"Thank you." I said as we parted, going our separate ways.

I had a few more things to take care of when I got back to work. After that I went back to Aaron's house and waited for him to get home.

Aaron's P.O.V.

I pulled out my phone and sent a message to Thea.

Me- Just landed. On my way home.

Thea- I'm in your bedroom. Waiting... 🫦

Jesus.

I shuffled in my seat. Fuck!

I made it home in record time. I grabbed my bags and headed inside. People were sitting in the kitchen eating and playing cards. Sofia was in the living room with Derek and Noah coloring and watching some movie.

"Hey, how was your trip?" Sofia asked, coming over.

"Good. Hailey is happy."

"You did a good thing for her. I'm glad she was able to get her happily ever after. If you're looking for Thea, she went upstairs already."

I smiled. "Thank you."

I looked over at the guys, "Any problems when I was gone?"

"No." Nico confirmed.

Thank God. "Great, I'm going to head upstairs to see Thea."

"It's been two days. Man you are puss-'

"Silas! Watch yourself." I warned.

Silas was still laughing, along with a few others. I ignored them as I made my way to my beautiful lady.

"Thea?"

"Come in."

Opening the door, I walked in and closed the door behind me. It was dark, the only thing lighting up the room was the moon shining in. My eyes landed on Thea, sitting in a chair... naked.

I dropped my bag and turned on the light switch. Thea sat there with her legs crossed, smiling at me as she played with one of my ties that she had wrapped around her neck.

"Hi."

"Holy shit, beautiful."

Walking forward, I tripped over the bag that I forgot I had dropped on the floor, but quickly composed myself.

She giggled, "Why Mr. Hale, are you nervous?"

She stood up and started walking over to me. I couldn't wait for her to get to me so I started walking too, undoing the buttons on my jacket.
