Tuchel: "Timo has torn his hamstring and Pulisic has a twisted ankle. I really don't have another option except to start you."

Kai: "Boss, it's a final against Liverpool, and I was horrible against Leeds for God's sake. I kept seeing these flashbacks that didn't allow me to focus. If I play, we lose."

Tuchel: "We won't, Kai. You are underestimating your power. You have always been the man for the finals. You will do just fine."

Kai: " And if I screwed up?"

Tuchel: "Then you did your best. No one is demanding anything from you right now. Make use of that advantage. The match is already in a few hours and you are starting. That's final. Also, it is at Wembley, a different stadium, which means you won't have the same circumstances that created the flashbacks."

Kai: "Whatever you say, boss."

Kai went inside to call Sophia, who couldn't come because the twins gave her a hell of a night, so Kai left her to rest. He had already told her about the flashbacks, and she was trying to assure him that nothing bad would happen again.

Kai: "Hey, love."

Sophia: "Hey, you."

Kai: "Tuchel wants to start me."

Sophia: "Good, that's great."

Kai: "How is it so, Soph? I am scared."

Sophia: "Oh baby, it'll be fine; remember, you play it because you love it; forget everything else and do it like when you were 10 and played with friends."

Kai: "Do you think it will be a disaster class?"

Sophia: "First of all, everyone knows what you have been through and no one will blame you for anything. Second, the answer is no. You never fail to impress me, Kai, and I think today will be no exception."

Kai: "I hope so. I wish you were here, Soph."

Sophia: "Me too, but I will be watching every second and would take a selfie with the babies when you lift the trophy in the background."

Kai: "Haha ... fingers crossed. Love ya sweetie, gotta go."

He got straight to warming up. He tried to think the way Sophia told him to. He would lift the trophy, she would take the photo, and he would then post it happily on Instagram, saying he finally did it.
The match started rough. Liverpool got an early goal, and Kai couldn't find his game at all. He tried to focus as much as possible, but it seemed harder than he remembered. He felt it was over until Chilly fired this shot from afar, equalising the score with 10 minutes to play. Kai recognised that as his cue to step up and get another final winning goal. His wish appeared to be fading away until the last minute. When Kai was shooting the last corner/the last play of the match, when he found it heading towards him, he didn't hesitate before driving himself with all the power left in him to head it. He didn't see where the ball went as Trent appeared in front of his face, colliding with him harshly. Kai heard lots of cheering, which made him open his eyes immediately, looking around for answers. He saw Tuchel running around hugging his team. while every Liverpool fan looked down. He got his eyes to the right a bit to see Mason screaming.

Mason: "I don't care if you just cut your eyebrow, I am hugging you."

While the referee was blowing the final whistle, Mason threw himself over Kai, the rest of the team following on top of him to celebrate. Kai was crying underneath all of that. He couldn't believe he actually did it. He scored the game-winning goal, the final goal, his first and final goal of the season, and the most important goal of the season. It took some time for Dr. Hawk to pull Kai from underneath in order to check on him. He will definitely need stitches, but the boy seemed not to be into it right now, so he just wrapped a bandage around his head and left him to celebrate.
Kai went completely insane. He was running in every direction on the pitch just to throw himself at the end to let it sink in before standing up and running in another direction. His team insisted he should be the one to lift the trophy, which got him emotional, tearing up while doing it. The crazy mode was soon back on once they got back to the pitch, which made it quite hard for Tuchel to get him to go to the press conference at the meeting room.

Reporter 1: "Kai Havertz, congratulations on scoring the final goal and winning the FA Cup. How do you feel?"

Kai: "It feels amazing. For me, it's not just another cup. It's my first start, goal, and trophy, all in one, since I collapsed. So, I am the happiest tonight to be here. It's also my first since I became a father, so that was for my little family."

Reporter 2: "When you were in the middle of all these problems at the hospital, did you think you could come back to where you are right now?"

Kai: "Not at all. I was sure I could never play again after what happened. I really suffered. There were times when I didn't even know how to walk, hell, when I didn't even talk or eat. It was harder than anything I could have imagined myself facing one day. So, the fact that I did it is more of a surprise for me than it is for you."

Reporter 3: "What would you like to tell your fans now that you are finally back from everything you have been through with a goal and a trophy as usual?"

Kai: "I would like to tell them that there is always a way. My family was told I wouldn't survive and here I am. Everything is possible; just do your best. At the end, I would like to thank them for sticking up for me and supporting me even when it was really hard to do so."

Reporter 4: "Now that you are back, what's next?"

Kai: "There is a lot coming. I want to become better than I even was before the incident. I want to win more trophies and score loads of goals. I want to finally get married to my fiancée. Love you darling by the way. Finally, I need to ensure my twins are hardcore Chelsea fans (which made everyone laugh). These three are everything I have, I wouldn't have been here without them, especially my fiancée who literally spent almost a year by my bedside. This win and every other win in the future is for her. She wanted to take a selfie when I lift the trophy but I guess I ruined it looking like that (pointing to his head and letting all the reporters break down into laughter)."
