*Zacks pov*
"hey guys?" I speak up.
"Yeah?" Clay responds first.
"Real talk though, what's Maya like to you guys?" I ask the others.
"Well since I'm the only other person in here that's met her, she's very sweet, intelligent, and-"
Clay paused.
"What? Brother!" Jake says.
"I can't say man. I don't know their is so many things." He says blankly and honestly.
"Well from that I think she's a chill person!" Jake says.
"Oh man, she's the chiliest bad bitch their is." I say.
"Agreed 100%!" Clay says in agreement.
"What about you guys?" I ask the rest.
"She sounds like a very unique and important person in your life, speaking of the situation-" "but like again she sounds important and there's a reason we're having a very long car ride!" Colby says.
The rest nod their head in agreement.
"Oh ok, well- um after we get her out we have to start our investigation!" I say to break the pause.
"Oh sick brother!" Colby says.
"Yeah! What are you doing?" Sam adds.
"We have to talk to the popo first!" I say.
"The popo!" "Wha- the police!" Corey shouts.
"Yes?" "I'm confused?" I express.
"How?" Jake asks.
"Oh! You think a paranormal investigation!" I understood.
"Yes!" Jake says. "What other type!" Sam asks me.
"murder?" I say confused.
"What!" Corey says.
"Yeah!" I respond.
"For how much and how in general!"
*Hunters pov*
I hear the sound of confusion and yelling? I open my eyes fully and pick up my head from the side of the door.
"What?" I say.
"I'm trying to explain the mission the popo got us!" Zack reminds me.
"Oh yeah!" "I almost forgot about that!" I say to the others.
"So wait explain please?" Colby asks.
"So basically there was a murderer that happened at the hotel and the popo saw our experience with the paranormal and true crime, so they contacted us!" I explained to them.
"Well how much are you guys getting?' Sam asks me.
"Ready?" I ask them.
"Yes?" Corey says in confusion.
"You sure!" I say again.
"Yes we are sure!" Jake says.
"200 thousand!" Zack reveals.
"WHAT!" Corey shouts.
"HOLY FUCKING CRAP!" Colby yelps after.
Clay and Sam drop there jaws.
"200?" "Only 200 bucks?" Jake says.
"No no Jake!" I say to him.
"200 thousand!" I say again.
"What the fuck." He says in response.
"Oh!" "There's another good thing!" Zack says.
"What!" Sam shouts.
"We are only 2 hours away!" He announced.
"Wow!" Clay and corey say.
"I can't wait!" Jake says.
"Agreed! Brother!" Colby says after him.
I sigh and look at Zack for comfort, he look back at me and puts his hand on my shoulder.
"Thanks man." I say to him.
The sun barley peeks out of the clouds.
"Hey man aren't you scared of sunsets?" Jake asks Sam.
"Wow Jake! A way to ruin the moment!" Sam says in defense.
"are you scared of sunsets Sam?" I ask him.
"Yes"
