The sound of a quill scraping on parchment was herd through the soft humming of students talking. The marauders were sitting in the large leather couch in front of the warm fireplace. They were laughing at Peter who was telling a story about how he accidentally had set Mrs. Norris tail on fire. Filch had been furious, chasing him through the entire castle. Mrs. Norris was fine, luckily Xenophilius Lovegood had been able to cast the aquamenti spell, saving the poor cats fur.

All of a sudden, Sirius seemed to realise that his girlfriend was no longer with them. He looked around wildly, suddenly feeling anxious that something had happened to her. But it all faded away when he saw her scribbling away on a piece of parchment. A sudden urge to embrace his girlfriend came over him and he stood up, walking towards her. He filled with love as he watched you, hair up in a messy bun and wearing his sweater.

He slid into the chair next to his girlfriend, pressing a gentle kiss on her head. She smiled gently at him before continuing working on her essay. Sirius wrapped an arm around her, assuming that it would make her give him some kind of attention, but it didn't. A frown grew onto his delicate features, patience running out as he snatched the quill out of her hand.

"He-" You were interrupted by his lips pressing against yours. You rolled your eyes but kissed him back, he had always been clingy, but you loved it. You wrapped your arms around his body, making him distracted from you grabbing the quill from his hand. You broke the kiss with a teasing smile, waving the feather in front of his eyes. His eyes were love drunk as he watched you, a look of absolute adoration. He woke up from his trance as the feather touch his nose, making him sneeze.

You both chuckled slightly at this, before you pecked his cheek gently, continued writing on your parchment. You could feel him staring at you, so you sighed as you looked up at him again. His dark eyes met yours.

"I just have to get this essay finished Sirius, then i'll go to you. Alright?" You said, smiling at him. He pouted with a nod before resting his head in his arms that laid on the table. You chuckled slightly at him before you spoke up again. "You can go back to them you know, i know you find this boring."

"Nothing is boring when you are there." He said with a cheeky smile, making your cheeks heat up. You kissed his cheek before going back to your studies.

Thirty minutes later you were almost finished, only the conclusion left. The essay needed to be finished in two days so you figured you could finish it later. When you looked at your boyfriend again you found him sleeping. His eyes were fluttered shut, breathing softly. You smiled warmly at him, pecking his cheek lightly before you stood up, walking towards the marauders. You sat down next to Lily, who was reading a book.

"You finally found us to be a better company than your essay?" James asked, a teasing smile on his lips.

"Of course not James, you've always been a better company than essays, i just had to finish it." You smiled at him.

"She's lying. She finds you as annoying as i do." Lily spoke up, not raising her head from her book.

"You're breaking my heart Evans." James said, clenching his hand over his chest.

"Good, i hope it's hurting." Lily sweetly smiled.

"Hey, where's Padfoot?" Peter asked.

"Over there." You pointed. "He fell asleep as i was working on my essay." You said, making the whole group chuckle slightly.

"Well that just can't do." James said in a mischievous tone. You looked at him while shaking your head.

"Let him be Prongs, he's tired." You said.

"I wish Lily cared for me as much as Y/n cares for Padfoot." James dramatically sighed.

"In your dreams, Potter." Lily said from behind her book.

"Trust me, you are." James flashed her a cheeky smile. Lily blushed slightly behind her book. You gave James a thumbs up, making him smile proudly.

After a few rounds of cards, you watched as Sirius slowly sat up, rubbing his eyes before stretching his arms. As his eyes met yours he smiled softly and got up from the chair, making his way over to you. He sat down on the floor next to you, wrapping his arm around your waist and leaned his head against yours.

"Look who's finally back from the dead." James teased.

"Piss off." Sirius said, a smile playing in his rosy lips.

The rest of the night he spent by your side, helping you with the card game that you were playing with James and Peter. Lily and Remus were deep into the world of the books they were reading. Sirius kissed the base of your neck softly, and in that moment you felt true happiness.
