The sun shone through the green water, into your dorm room. You got up before sunrise to be able to finish an essay that professor Binns had assigned to all the students in fifth grade who took his class, history of magic. It was a week until it was supposed to be done, but you wanted to finish it early. You usually did this, it gave you loads of free time to do the things that you loved doing. Sighing, you looked up at the sun, a break wouldn't hurt. You packed a backpack with some candy, a water bottle, a sketchbook and some pens before you swung it over your shoulder. You grabbed the book you were currently reading as well, placing it under your arm.

It was Saturday, which meant no school. During these days students would just be lazy, spending most of their time in their common rooms or in the great hall. You got up from the seat by your desk and put on Draco's green sweater over your cold body. The knitted material heated your skin and you grabbed a pair of boots before you walked outside of your dorm. When you got to the Slytherin common room, only a few students were passed out in the sofas, a fireball whiskey bottle laying on the floor. You put your boots on and stuck your wand inside the waistband of your leggings before heading outside.

As you got to the regular floor you saw Mrs Norris sitting in the middle of the hallway. As soon as you saw her you gasped and hunched down, the cat sprinting towards you immediately. She liked you the moment you first stepped into Hogwarts, and you liked her as well. You saw the figure of Mr Filch walk towards you and you got up, still holding the purring cat in your arms.

"Good morning Mr Filch!" You cheerfully said, making him smile slightly. "Been up long?" You asked as you walked towards him, handing him his cat.

"A few hours" He shortly said, patting Mrs Norris's head gently.

"Same here, had to finish Professor Binns essay." You smiled. "Well i better be off, have a good day." You said before walking away. You didn't have anything against Filch, he was just a little bit creepy. But hardly anyone liked him so you felt a bit sad for him. You tried to greet him every time he passed you in a hallway, you were the only student who did.

You finally got outside, the slightly chilly air soothed your skin as you walked towards the great lake. You sat down and watched a few toads swim around in the shallow water. You smiled slightly and took out your wand, using a flowering spell on a water lily bud. It flourished, the white color reflecting onto the surface of the dark water. You leaned against a tree and grabbed your book, continuing to read where you last stopped.

Inside the slytherin common room, Draco Malfoy walked in. He knew that you were an early bird so he thought you were there. But he saw no one but a few passed out students that laid on the sofas. He carefully walked towards your dorm that you shared with Pansy and Amethyst, knocking gently. He thought that you would open the door, but were surprised when it was Pansy who showed up, her hair a mess and a tired yet annoyed facial expression.

"Is Y/n here?" He asked and she looked behind her.

"No, maybe she's in the common room?" She stretched her body with a yawn.

"No i checked."

"Okey.. she's probably on the loo or something." She said and Draco nodded, before turning around, Pansy shut the door behind him. He sat down by the fireplace and waited for about ten minutes, but you didn't show up. He grew worried, wondering where you might be.

After about two hours you decided to get back into the castle. Your stomach was growling for food. You packed your things and got up, greeting Hagrid as you passed him by the entrance. Soon you were standing outside of the slytherin dungeon, trying to remember the password.

"Flobberworm Mucus" You finally remembered and the opening was revealed. You were met by some lazy Slytherin students that were just walking around and talking to each other. And before you could do or say anything a pair of arms was wrapped around your waist and held you close. The familiar scent of a musky vanilla filled your nostrils and you knew exactly who it was, Draco.

"Where have you been?" He asked with worry and relief clear in his grey eyes as he let you go.

"I was by the great lake, reading." You said, showing him your book, he was not interested in that though, he kept his eyes on you.

"You were outside? You know whats happening around the school! You could have gotten hurt!" Draco said, looking at your body for injuries.

"I'm fine!" You laughed, grabbing his hand. "Draco you don't have to worry about me. I had my wand with me." You smiled, grabbing his other hand. You pressed a soft kiss to his lips."Let's eat breakfast now shall we? I'm starving" You said and pulled him out from the common room.
