36. Puppy videos

"Kim Taehyung!" Jimin yelled, breaking into the CEOs room.

A completely unbothered and very over-worked Chaeryoung sat behind her table, looking like a ghost.

"Where is he?" Jimin walked into the room.

Chaeryoung laughed emptily, "Oppa and Jisoo unnie decided to stay and live in that room forever because the stupid me said that I'll manage everything for today and as if the nature went against me, there's suddenly loads of work and my ego is stopping me from calling him for help."

Jimin blinked twice, trying to process what Chaeryoung said.

"Ah! I thought he'd be all alone in the office, grieving by himself and over-working himself to death; I guess he's not the old Tae bear that I know anymore." He wiped imaginary tears.

"Well, let me just capture you in this pitiful condition, Ryujin asked me to get some dirt on you. She said she'll help me with convincing Jeongyeon." Jimin quickly snapped two pictures of Chaeryoung.

"Did Jeongyeon unnie shoo you away again? Well, that's hilarious!" Chaeyoung chuckled, looking deeper into the files.

Jimin clicked his tongue, annoyed. He walked towards the secret room (Which, by the way, wasn't not much of a secret after Chaeryoung took in-charge) and barged into the room which he expected to be locked.

Jisoo and Taehyung who were giggling over some puppy videos stopped and looked at Jimin, surprised.

"I told you to lock the door." Taehyung slapped Jisoo's shoulder, making her pout.

"I'm sorry." He said. Jisoo smiled.

"That was surprisingly simple." Jimin sat beside Taehyung.

"Did you guys fight again? You guys should go easy with the arguments, man. Last time, Jennie almost cried when you guys fought because it looked so serious." Taehyung slapped Jimin.

"Why- Well I guess it is my fault this time." Jimin rubbed his neck guiltily.

"Anyways, what are you guys doing? I expected you guys to be holding each other and crying, I was worried." He looked at them worriedly.

"I appreciate you concern, Jimin." Jisoo smiled.

"So formal, Jisoo."

"I swear, you guys have the weirdest conversations." Taehyung scrunched his face, looking back at the puppy videos.

Taehyung quickly answered the call, "Hello?" He spoke.

"Ah! Hyung, it's me." Oliver's thick voice rang in the quiet room.

"Oh..." Taehyung glanced at Jisoo and a fuming Jimin.

'Cut the call. Don't talk with him!' Jimin mouthed angrily.

"Hyung, I've come to a conclusion." Oliver spoke.

Jisoo and Taehyung looked at each other with eyes full of hope.

"I not only want to convince Jisoo, but you too." A slapping sound and a little scolding was heard from the other end.

Taehyung and Jisoo sighed in disappointment.

"Why don't you try convincing me too now?" Jimin snickered in sarcasm.

"Oh Jimin hyung! Hello. You didn't tell me that all of you are always together, Tae Hyung?" Oliver chuckled.

"Leave me, let me find him and-" Taehyung pushed the raging Jimin out of the room and locked the room.

"What were you saying, Oliver?" Taehyung sat down, pressurised about what he might say now.
