The door closed behind me as Theoden was the last one in, checking if anyone had followed.

We lived in an abandoned parking complex down at the Lower Grounds, it's technically the poor side of this state.

"Theoden, do you have the Calis?" Halo spoke while taking her jacket off and hanging it on the hook of her hammock. "I gave it back to Krensa" Theoden said while locking the door we had built that matched pretty well with the enclosed walls hiding us from the world.

"Alright, Krensa, can you hand me the Calis please?...Krensa?" She turns around seeing I'm not there anymore, only Theoden was standing next to the door.

Theoden sighed and looked at Ash and Makaela, "did you guys see him?". "I only saw him come in, I thought he was in front of you" Makaela responded after giving Ash a cup of stored rainwater trying to calm him down, they were like a bother and sister.

Theoden gathered himself and was about to go and search the building before Halo put a hand on his shoulder, "I'll go look for him, I think I know where he is". She left where our hammocks were in search for me.

She found me at the highest level surrounded by the plants and flowers we had been growing for food and medicine, the solar lights we had managed to make turned on and me, myself and I curled up in the center looking at the Calis in silence.

Walking over she lightly spoke, "what's on your mind?". I replied, "It's my fault we almost got caught. I blacked out again didn't I?" I say without taking my gaze off the standing Calis in front of me, its carved golden eye staring right back.

She sits down next to me propping her knee up to hold her left arm, "hey, you didn't almost get us caught, personally I think it was Theoden's fault for telling Ash to stop with the pebbles." She lightly laughed.

"But I fainted in the middle of a mission" I said, my voice slightly cracking, "what if I'll never be able to get rid of fainting and I just blow our dream to leave?" I felt tears stinging my eyes.

Halo lightly grabbed my chin and made me look up at her, she was taller than me and I hated it, because she always bugged about how cute I looked even though we were both 16.

"You didn't do anything wrong alright? It's part of who you are, we'll get you treatment but I need for you to understand we all love you too much to just leave you behind all because you could get us caught, when have we not gotten in trouble and not made it something fun?" She sweetly spoke.

I chuckled a little and felt her hand caressing my cheek getting rid of tears I didn't know were flowing.

"C'mere" she gave me a warm hug pulling me close. "I don't know what I'd do without you guys..." I truthfully spoke.

She smiled, "What do you say we eat a few crackers and then go to sleep, does that sound good?". I nodded, "Yeah, but can we...stay like this?...just for a bit". "Of course"

We stayed in the hug for a while until I had fallen asleep leaning on her, she chuckles and picks me up. I was quite light if she could pick me up without struggle.

I felt myself lower and slightly woke up, hearing her shushing me back asleep while she put me in my own hammock as if I were a baby. I could hear Theoden speaking.

"Halo, what are we going to do with him? He can barely take a step without his legs failing or feeling sick" he sternly spoke.

"I'm trying to find someone that can help him alright? We can't just let him out of our missions, what if something happens and we aren't there for him? What if he finally gets that cardiac arrest he's been fearing his entire life? Huh? What then?" Halo responded sounding worried. Silence followed.

I heard a chair move which was most probably one of the eating room's. "I don't know what to do okay?, I have too much on my mind" I heard Halo whisper. "Ash is asleep, thought you guys might need a snack" Makaela spoke.

I then dozed off, feeling too caught up to keep myself awake.
Suddenly I felt myself awaken in a jolt, panting after hearing a loud sound outside the walls.

I quickly get up and run to see what was happening, but what I saw left me without words, or in fact, without faith in this world.
