.Dark...cold...why couldn't I feel anything...dammit, why did I not help Krensa instead of Ash...
I couldn't stop thinking to myself now, everything was dark, I can't feel anything else except shivers and darkness around me. I'm laying down, that's for sure, but nothing else.
"How do I get out" for some reason the voice in my mind sounded way too loud.
"Someone...HELP!" I could feel my eyes opening but I was blinded by daylight. I couldn't feel my body and all I could hear were muffled words. Was that...krensa?
I suddenly felt tears in my eyes, why couldn't I feel anything? I can't feel Krensa, what is going on with me...
I feel arms wrapping around me yet I can just see blurry, everything was too bright. It was all just a mess.
I was crying in whoever was holding me's arms. Trying my best to hug them back but I was panicking. I couldn't see, couldn't feel, couldn't sense.
Suddenly I feel a cup on my lips, without having another option since I couldn't feel anything, I just drank. It tasted like mint for some reason.
Breathing more relaxed all of a sudden I feel two hands on my cheeks cleaning off tears from my face.
A minute passed and I opened my eyes once again, seeing a very worried looking Krensa. Tears in his very own eyes, I guess he could feel what I had even though my senses were still blurry.
"Hey..." He smiles while sniffling and holding back his tears. I lightly smile back, "Hi" I whisper trying to get my speaking abilities back.
I try to sit up at remembering once again what had happened the day before. "Halo, no, you're still waking up." Krensa denies me getting up and shoves me back down on the hammock.
I look at him serious with tired eyes, "why not, bitch?" I spurted out. His eyes went wide as he quickly went to the kitchen to grab the bottle and checked the secondary effects of the anesthetic Makaela had used on me.
"There's why..." He softly says and then walks back to the hammocks where very drowsy, drugged as fuck me was sitting.
"What the fuck is this?" I say poking the bandages on the stab wound. Was I drunk? A part of me couldn't even be comprehended, but my brain told me something was wrong.
"Don't touch that" Krensa sternly says grabbing my hand lightly. Trying to pull away I look at him suddenly and stop moving, "you're cute" I softly say looking down at him, seeing him now sat on the floor.
"Hey Krensa, I found this in the cupboard. Do you think it'll help?" Theoden walks in with a bottle of alcohol and a gauze as if he were going to clean a wound.
Krensa turns around after wiping the blush off his face and nods, "it should". He suddenly falls backwards at feeling me stand up. In all honesty, I pushed him, kind of.
I start walking around trying to find Makaela and Ash. "Where are they?" I whisper. "Halo, get back here!" I hear Krensa yell from the kitchen. Not cooperating, I kept looking.
After searching the entire building, my body begining to hurt as it did before I was obliged to fall asleep. "Halo, they went out to get some stuff, they won't be back until nighttime" I hear Theoden say from the ladder.
I hadn't noticed that I had gone to the third floor, almost the forth one. Fucking hell my torso hurts.
I let go of a sigh I had been holding in and begin going back down the ladder. Walking right past Theoden and doing my best not to let a sound of pain come out of me.
After going back down I see Krensa in the kitchen. Softening my face I slowly walk up to him. He looked more calm, at least more than he was before.
I silently place my chin on top of his head and sigh. He broke the silence, "are your senses back?" He softly speaks while not getting distracted from whatever he was making.
I shake my head as a tear falls down my cheek. "Why did she have to do that?" I whisper, letting my words be drowned by the sound of the leaves drifting outside and the branches hitting the walls.
"It'll be okay, she didn't measure the dosis and she just went for it. You know I'm also mad at her right?" He speaks softly and I nod.
"Yeah, it's just...I can't feel anything, not my own thoughts, not you...it feels like everything is out of place" I whisper. It really did feel out of place, like there was something missing. Which there was.
He replies, "I know, you'll be okay, you just need rest. Makaela doesn't exactly know how everything between us has gone before we met her, she'll come around alright?"
I nod and feel him turn around and wrap his arms around me, hugging me lightly I hug him back. Though my reply to his action was much more stronger. Damn, I needed that.
We both hear Theoden come back down, turning to look at him, he was carrying some tomatoes and other small fruits. "Hey lovebirds, what do you wanna eat? I can cook today" he offered
I chuckle and blush slightly at seeing Krensa hiding his face in my arm, "I'll eat anything honestly" I say. Suddenly feeling a sharp headache, I sit down on a chair that was behind me, hissing and holding my head.
"Hey, are you okay?" Krensa worries holding my shoulders. I slightly nod before everything came surging in.
I felt worried and scared all of a sudden. Looking up at Krensa I figured I had gotten my senses back. He flinched slightly at feeling my distress, suddenly hugging me.
"It's alright, you'll be alright" Krensa spoke caressing my back.
"Here, drink it" Theoden walks up with a cup of juice in his hand. I take it and look at it, it looked like orange juice so I took a sip.Almost choking on the taste I gag, feeling Theoden's hand holding my shoulder I look at him. "It'll help, just drink it okay?" At hearing him I look back to the drink and drink it all in one.
"There, I'll help you lay down and when Theoden is done with the food I'll wake you up." Krensa says leading me slowly to the hammocks.
The door bursts open with a bang. All of us turning around we see a hooded figure with a bow on his back, holding a knife at Makaela's neck and Ash being dragged by ropes on his wrists.
"You again!" Theoden speaks as he takes out a knife. Had he seen this person before? Looking beside me I see Krensa with a dagger. "Let her go!" He screams beside me.
"I'm sorry..." Makaela speaks but shushes when she feels the knife press more into her throat.
"The Calis. Where is it?" He speaks on a low voice, though his accent sounded like Theoden's. It was a bit held back but it was understandable.
"Let them go first, then we negotiate" Theoden speaks firmly.
"...fair enough" the hooded figure says and lets them both go, "now tell me where the Calis is.""Why do you want such a relic? Black market?" I speak sternly smirking, trying to get onto his nerves as Krensa stood beside me.
"More like something that was stolen by the monarch's ancestors...long long ago." The young man takes off his hood...how was this possible?
