.Theoden...why was he here?...and what the hell is he wearing?
Dressed in a white and gold shirt...which looked more like a blouse being completely honest.
Looking at Theoden strangely he looks back and stands up. "Guys!" He spoke enthusiastic, "you joined us! I thought this was only going to be an us dinner, sir" he walks toward us and smiles hugging both of us.
"Theoden, what are you doing here? We need to leave" Makaela whispers making him look at us sceptical.
"What? Why?" He asks, "this place is great don't you think?". Makaela and I look at each other confused. "What is going on here?" Makaela asks Theoden.
"This place is great! They've treated me so well, I can't believe how long they took to give you guys a tour" he speaks enthusiastic.
"Theoden, it isn't the best for us-" I tried telling him but the king spoke, interrupting me.
"Why are the children out of their rooms? I do hope our service has been well!" The king excitedly says from his chair.
Makaela steps in front of Theoden and starts eyeing the King, without any words. Hoping the service had been well? Hadn't he ordered us to be tossed down there?
" 'kaela? What's wrong?" Theoden asks. She responds pretty pissed, "Oh I'll show you what's wrong", she takes his hand and roughly pulls him out the room. I look at the king, then back at the door and run off trying to keep up.
"Makaela, calm down, it must be a misunderstanding-" I try to get her to her senses but damn she was hard headed when it came to injustice.
Guards tried to stop us but, very confused Theoden, told them to let us through.
I kept running behind them as she stomped her way back to the cells dragging Theoden with her. She stands in front of Krensa's cell making him look up towards her, keeping Halo on his lap in a protective position with her face tucked into his stomach, though not to suffocate her.
But something was wrong. He looked at us sacred, as if danger had come by when we weren't here. He had a bruise on his jawline and a tiny cut on his cheek.
"Krensa!" Makaela exclaims, "Ash, open this up" she says quickly as I grab the lock of the door and beging to slowly but surely melt it, making Theoden look at me in shock.
Knocking the door down I rush to Krensa, he backed away keeping an eye on Theoden. "Krensa, what happened?" I whisper trying to look at his face's side.
He only shakes his head and tucks Halo in closer. I look back at Makaela, visible rage spreading across her face as she turns to Theoden. "This is what we mean!" She says pretty loudly.
"It's okay Krensa, we're not going to hurt you, just let me see alright?" I softly speak to him, trying to get him down from what appeared to be an adrenaline rush.
Makaela on the other hand, was scolding some guards that had followed us, Theoden finding out they had lied to him. A few minutes pass by and Krensa looked less tense, loosening his grip on Halo, I slowly grab his hand and make him lay her down comfortably.
Her face was all fucked up, her nose bridge was visibly out of place, her bottom lip torn open making blood fall down her chin and the gash that had once stopped to bleed was more open than before and all that could be thought of keeping her alive was Krensa holding her mouth slightly open as an airway.
"What the fuck happened?" I speak worried and look for a pulse, she looked way too relaxed, though it took a while, I found one. Sighing in relief and ignoring the screams from Makaela behind me I focus myself on Krensa.
"They came looking for you, when they didn't find you they blamed me and Halo was already awake...so she tried to fight them off but they just..." He whispers as tears prick at his eyes, I put a hand on his shoulder. He continues, "her shoulder is out of place and I left the spell book back home-" he whispers being interrupted by Theoden bringing a cup of water for him.
"Drink, they're getting the doctors so they take care of her-" "I will NOT let them lay a finger on her" Krensa interrupts giving Theoden a death glare.
Theoden sighs and gets up, was he trying to apologize by calling in doctors himself instead of them attending us? Good lords all we need is a break.
