-|Krensa's pov|-

"Dammit, why are they taking so long..." I thought to myself, feeling Halo begin to move in my lap. Looking down I smile softly.
"Krensa?" She asked groggily. I respond, "it's me, don't worry".
She sits up slowly putting a hand on her forehead to feel the slightly healed gash.
She speaks, "I see they didn't keep their promise". Watching her look around I slightly nod. "Ash and Makaela broke out, they said they would get the keys but...I feel like they fled" I break the silence softly.
At saying that, we both turn out heads to the hallway where the metallic bang of the door was heard. Two guards come with four plates of food, still carrying their harpoons, which were their main weapons, and look in shock at the molten bars from the cell across the hall.
"Where the fuck did they go?!" The second guard looks at us with menacing eyes once he turned.
"I don't know, they just up and left-" I try to convince them we had nothing to do with it, but they were already inside trying to grab us and make us tell "the truth".
"Get your hands off of me!" Halo yells as she lands a fist at the guard that went for her. The second one charged at her with the harpoon's bar which she blocked and began pulling at.
I try to stand up and help her but the guard she had knocked previously had already gotten up and gave me a good knuckle punch to my jaw, I swear I heard something crack.
As I fell to the ground he put one of his boots on my cheek, pressing me down to the ground. The weight being lifted off when Halo charged at him and lounging over him to knock him over, punching his face nonstop even when the second guard got up.
She spoke in between punches and pushes, "Krensa, get out of here!". I quickly nod having in mind to go and grab a weapon they might have laying around and then come back, but I was met with two other guards, whom I anxiously streaked conversation with trying to get a harpoon or a damn sword.
I still when I hear a shriek from down the hall followed by sobs, quickly turning around I see both guards walking out, bloodied enough one would think they were just in the middle of a battlefield.
"You! Get back here now, before she worsens." The first guard says sternly. My heart drops, running back to see Halo on the ground clutching her left shoulder, blood streaking down from her now visibly mis lodged nose and forehead.
The second guard pushes me in harshly, making me fall to my knees watching as Halo tried to get up using her right arm, breathing through her open mouth.
"No..." I whisper as tears prickle at my eyes seeing her like this. Crawling closer I stop her from getting up. "Are you hurt?" She speaks between small groans and whines as I shake my head lightly wiping the tears that were staining her face.
"I'm alright, gods, why is it so normal for you to get hurt?" I reply looking down at her, letting her lay on my lap.
"We look out...for each other...I get the hits in and-" she was interrupted by choughs, I couldn't do anything, just stare. I finish the sentence for her "And I see and cure the aftermath..."
After her coughing frenzy, she smiles lightly. I hate when she does that while she knows I can feel the fear she has. Suddenly her eyes close and her mouth almost falls closed, quickly I grab her jaw lightly and part her lips keeping the airway open. "Halo, wake up. Halo!"
Fear struck me, she passed out, took her long enough but why have the others taken so long?!
Hearing fast footsteps I pull Halo in close, hunching myself over to protect her vulnerable body. "Krensa!" I hear Makaela practically yell in the hall, everything sounded blurry after that. Though the bang of the door falling was heard, I could only hear muffled screams Makaela was saying.
Suddenly, Ash came to view, well, to the corner of my view. Both hands in front of him to show no threat, he must've seen panic set into me.
I started to feel dizzy when I finally calmed down, letting him see Halo's current status, while maintaining her mouth open.
Letting her inspect her status, I stated she had her shoulder out of place. I couldn't look at him straight in the face, I just couldn't, I knew if I did I would pass out.
I heard Theoden begin to speak, "They'll come to check on her in a few minutes-" "I am NOT letting them lay a finger on her." I interrupted him in a serious voice, going back into protecting her with my body.
. . .
It took a while to get me to trust them, but Halo's life was on the line, I just had to trust them on this. They got my jaw and cheek patched up, now I have to wear some dumb stick beneath it for two weeks...
I could feel their gazes on me from the main entrance of the infirmary hall. I wasn't leaving her side. At this point I hadn't eaten either, and I wasn't going to leave her here with these..."guards".
"Please wake up soon...void and grey fuzziness doesn't feel like you" I lightly chuckle at my own very bad joke. My smile fading once I look back at her face, taking her hand in mine. "Gods, just give us a place to rest without having eyes and cash on our heads...and we are going to need a lot of explaining." I think to myself, turning my head just enough to give Theoden a side eye look of anger building up.

A/N: OOF- School's got me heavy on finals and tasks, so updates will be further apart.
(´-﹏-';)
Either way, here's a change of perspective of what happened in the last chapter and a little addition to it! I might do Theoden's pov for a future side of the story. Enjoy!
