-|Theoden's pov|-

The walk home wasn't that long, but it did feel like it. Walking and walking through crowds, there was a festival going on.

The Lower Grounds aren't that festive so we're recognized for our lack of activity, it's rare to have a party going on so it was pretty full.

After getting back home we saw Halo laying on her hammock so we kept quiet and tip toed to the counter and started putting stuff away.

"You're back!" Ash almost screamed from a corner and came running to Makaela, just as he came running we heard a scream and a thud.

"Ash, how are you?" Makaela said while hugging him trying to peek over the corner to see who had screamed.

"I'm good, Krensa is putting up a better elevator system so that we don't have to keep using the ladder and probably get hurt" just as he explained that, he suddenly widened his eyes and looked at Theoden in shock.

"What's wrong?" Theoden asked. "Ash!" Halo yelled from where Ash came running, she had gotten up! But we didn't even hear her...what the fuck?!

I leave my bag on the counter and go running seeing her using the metal bars of the balcony as support, one leg unable to be used so it was stretched out. Looked kind of uncomfortable.

We all ran to the edge, Makaela quickly taking a hold of very worried Halo and looked down.

"What-...happened..." Makaela stands shocked as I look over the edge hearing a "whoops" come out of Ash's mouth, sounding embarrassed.

Down below was Krensa, who had landed on a tiny river and physically was too mad and in shock to even speak. He had ropes and wooden planks around him which I'm guessing were part of whatever he was building.

"God, dammit" I say as I grab a rope laying on the floor and go down to get him.

In the background I could hear Halo trying to fight Ash for letting Krensa fall and try to get out of Makaela's grip. I have to be quick.

Finally reaching the bottom of the little cavern I look at Krensa, "hey, are you okay?". Receiving no response I lightly slap him on the cheek, "Krensa, answer" I speak a little worried.

Visibly snapping out of it he lightly shakes his head and nods, "I'm alright" he whispered.

He tries to sit up but I stop him, "stay still, if you move you might break something. The fall you took was from pretty high up"

He flops back down letting out a sigh, "I should've waited for you guys" he says putting a hand over his eyes, then rubbing his nose bridge.

"Maybe you should've, but it's alright, we're here now and it was an accident" I state checking for any injuries, then helping him sit up.

A few minutes passed and we made it back up, drops of blood on the floor caught my attention. "Makaela?" I speak a little loud but get interrupted by Krensa instead. But he sounded...scared.

"Halo...what's going on" he quickly gets off my back which he came up on and rushes over to the hammocks.

Racing after him we both find Halo struggling to stay awake on her hammock trying to fight back and Makaela holding her mouth closed.

"Makaela what are you doing?!" Krensa speaks and runs to break them apart. "She wouldn't stop trying to hit Ash, it's just anesthesia, she'll just be asleep"

And with that, Halo stopped moving and Krensa literally tore Makaela off of her and ran to see if she was alright but you could see in his eyes he felt nothing from her.

"Why did you have to do that? We could've just talked it out!" Krensa says agitated. "He does have a point Makaela, why?" I say being with Krensa on this one.

"We accidentally grabbed anesthesia apart from the meds back at the shop and she swore Ash was going to pay for letting Krensa fall, I didn't have another option" she says defending her point.

"You have your reasons Makaela, but couldn't you do it in a more calm way except obliging her to take it?-" I was interrupted.

"Not only obliging her but also why didn't you try giving her a little space to speak huh?" Krensa starts getting closer putting his finger on Makaela's shoulder and nudging her.

"Do you know how scared she was while you were doing that? How agitated she was? I felt that. How I felt emotionally when I fell? She felt that. Did you? Don't talk about stuff that could have been when they didn't happen." At the end of his speech, Makaela had her back on the wall and Krensa might've seemed smaller, but you could see he was mad.

His stare gave everything off, his barely heard breathing, his hands shaking and jaw clenched. He was REALLY mad.

"Listen, Krensa, she could've opened the wound-" she tried to speak. "I am not changing my mind, so don't try to flip the table."

With that, he turns around and takes a chair from the kitchen, putting it to look away from Halo's hammock and sitting on it backwards, facing her.

Makaela lowers her head and walks off to one of the windows. I see Ash going up the ladder and I go after him.

Peeking my head up I see him curled up staring at the sky through a broken glass window. I go up and sit beside him.

"You okay?" I softly speak, seeing him nod I lightly pat his head and lay back. "Y'know, 'kaela and Krensa are just blaming themselves, you don't have to feel weighed on with this"

He softly replies, "but Krensa got hurt because I got excited to see you guys". I pat his back and look at him from my spot, "it was an accident, accidents happen alright? We'll work on your multitasking, but this has nothing to do with it, 'kay?"

He nods and lays back with me, we spent minute after minute there, hoping the others had made up, little did we know we'd fall asleep right then and there.

Welp! Another filler!! I just can't help myself but keep adding character development, distress, and little moments between the group ^w^. More action will come, don't worry!
