it's been two days since jaemin moved out on his own. jeno didn't speak to jaemin at all, and he didn't sign the divorce papers either. jaemin can try to end this relationship in various ways, but he doesn't really understand how the legal system operates. he so made the decision to simply leave jeno and stop thinking about him. but he worries about his husband secretly.
on the other hand, jeno attempted to put aside his affections for jaemin and begin working on his business, but he isn't even eating and doesn't look good. jeno is very lifeless and weak. moreover, he made himself sicker by having a propensity of lowering the air conditioner down to the lowest setting. he is currently coughing and has a severe cold, yet he is still exercising without taking any medication.
he often checks jaemin's contact information to see whether the pinkette has called, texted, or provided any other kind of update, but he has no knowledge of him.
he caught a glimpse of the screen and saw that his mother had called, but he had missed the call. the ravenette made an urgent call to his mother.
"have you called?"
"jeno! You know I was worried so much about you, so I told you to always take up my phone as soon as you could! even jaemin's phone was off yesterday!" jeno could tell the woman was worried by the sound of her voice.
his painful throat was at its worst during the call, saying, "i'm sorry mum... i slept early yesterday..."
"are you ill, sweetheart? your voice is slurred".
"yes.."
"oh son, you're so irresponsible! i'll tell jaemin to give you some medicines and you better take them!"
"m-mom... don't.. bother jaemin it's okay...", he mumbled thinking about the things happened between them.
"you're so careless! hand jaemin the call", the woman said angrily.
jeno got himself into trouble, jaemin isn't at home. he quickly made an excuse, "mom... i'm in the bedroom... and he's cooking.. i just don't want to walk.."
"alright.. jeno.. take care sweetheart, i'll call jaemin instead. don't go to office today, just rest okay?"
"yeah.. love you mum"
"love you too baby"
the woman now called jaemin. she blindly believed what jeno said to her that jaemin is in the kitchen.
