Morgan:

I wake up with a groan. My neck hurts like hell and I can hardly move. All my muscles are heavy as lead and weigh at least a ton. I slowly stand up, my legs failing several times. When I finally stand I take a closer look around. It takes me a moment to recognize the training hall at our headquarters. It's pitch black and I can't see anything until my eyes adjust to the darkness. Only now do I notice that I'm standing in the boxing ring. After struggling to free myself from the boxing ring, I take a few unsteady steps towards the door. When I get to the door, I blindly grope for the light switch. When I finally find it and press it, nothing happens. Astonished, I make my way to the junction box. But for that I have to go through half the dark building. And as far as I know, the electrical box is in the basement. But shouldn't the emergency power actually come on? Or was the emergency reactor damaged? I try to get an answer to all these questions while sneaking through the darkness. I can walk again, but my progress is very slow. Which is probably because I first feel everything around me before I take a step. To be on the safe side, I drop to my knees and just keep crawling. This saves me some time and I can orientate myself better. One question keeps popping up in my mind: Why am I at headquarters? Didn't I go home last night? Or maybe not? I distract myself too much from my thoughts. Because suddenly I hit my head against something hard. Cursing, I rub my sore spot and feel my other hand over the cause. As it turns out, it's a door. I struggle to get up and after a few seconds feel the door handle I'm looking for. As quietly as possible, I push her down and push open the door. I wince when it creaks open. I stand still for a few seconds and listen to the darkness. But I hear nothing and realize that I've stopped breathing. Shaking my head, I walk down the few steps after tripping over the first one and realize that I've ended up in the kitchen. Wait a moment! Wasn't there a flashlight in the kitchen too? Where was it again? Since I can't remember where it was, I rummage through all the drawers and cupboards. Eventually I find them in the knife drawer (?). I quickly light it and take a closer look around. I realize with horror that I am barefoot and all my legs are scraped. Why are my clothes torn? In order not to lose any more time, I set off. With the narrow beam of light, I can cope much better than before. But just before I reach my destination, the flashlight begins to flicker and finally goes out completely. The sudden cold scares me. Which is why I hurry to the junction box. But no sooner have I opened it than I am faced with a new mystery. All the switches and knobs that I can see thanks to a spare light are overwhelming. Without further ado, I activate one. I close my eyes and turn away. 'Cause I don't even know what I flipped the switch for now. But finally the light comes on, flickering, and I turn around my own axis, relieved. But my joy comes to an end quickly. Because I see a person standing at the end of the aisle. Despite the light, she stands in the shadow. I shine my flashlight on them and get closer.
"Hello? Is anyone there? Who are you and what are you doing here?" I call into the silence. As soon as the person hears me, they turn around and run away. But I stay on her heels and follow her through the building. I stumble several times and inwardly curse my stamina. I should definitely do more exercise! Panting, I turn a corner and stop dead in my tracks. The stranger has disappeared from the face of the earth. But something else catches my attention. There, on the opposite wall from me, it's emblazoned in big letters: Don't stick your nose into things that don't concern you! Shocked, I step closer and notice that it's not red, it's blood. I slap my hand over my mouth. Suddenly I feel the darkness trying to grab me. But I try with all my might to defend myself against unconsciousness. However, I don't succeed and I hit the ground unconscious.

I feel a hand gently shaking me. I jump up screaming. Bright light blinds me and I blink several times. When I see clearly again, I realize that I'm not alone. I'm sitting at the table with the other Avengers. I am shocked to find that everyone is staring at me.
"What happened?" I ask exhausted.
"You fell asleep while we were talking," says Lila.
"You were kicking and screaming while doing that," Tommy adds.
"Are you okay?" Mom asks worried and I nod mechanically. "Yes everything is okay."
"Are you sure?" Pieter asks. I nod again.
"What did you dream about acting like that?" asks Bruce. He takes off his glasses and cleans them. How long has he had glasses?
"I woke up in the training room, or rather in the boxing ring. The light was off and I tried to turn it on. But it didn't work and then I walked through dark buildings. I found a flashlight in the kitchen and took it to the basement. However, she gave up the ghost just before the junction box. But I was able to turn on the light. I noticed a stranger. I followed her, but she was too fast. Finally she was swallowed up by the ground and ...... and ....", by the I falter at the last words.
"And then what happened?" Billy asks softly. I take a deep breath and say, "There was a message written in blood on the wall. Something about... not sticking our noses in wrong matters. Could have been something else. Not so sure.", I say. The others look at me in silence.
"Am I crazy now?"
"No, you're not. I'm just wondering if it could possibly be some kind of future," Bruce murmurs.
"What do you mean by that?" asks Thor.
"I think he means some kind of future vision." Steve joins in and Bruce disagrees.
"So Morgan isn't crazy?" Cassie asks cautiously. Bruce nods again.
