Luther and sloane were in a the brothers room trying to be more private while Luther take care of sloane. Being that she injured herself from what happened to her and the family.
" all right. " Luther got the ice packed, placing it gently on her shoulder. Sloane got the ice bag roughly holding the bag to her shoulder blade. Luther notice the tear stain on her cheek.
Sloane stared at him, upset and hurt for what they did to her sister and brother. " I hate your family. "
" that's cool. Not a super fan of yours right now. " Luther said to her, honestly resplied.
Sloane felt hurt but couldn't help but wonder for what happened. " were you part of it?"
" of what? "
" ambushing us with super mans grandpa. " sloane told him referring to Harlan.
" sloane..." Luther let's out a sigh, for what she's referring to. He points out to her, " my family can't decide whether or not to put mushrooms on a pizza. I had no idea who that old guy is. He just showed up. "
Sloane put the ice bag down listening to him, but couldn't help not to. " you except me to believe that?"

" yeah, but we didn't. And your stupid family's fine, and half of mine is dead. " sloane choked with tears trying to get the words out, after seeing the bodies of her brother and sister. She paused, Luther stayed silent waiting for her to finish. Sloane then remember Luna left the house, trying to remember where she went. " were you just.. Using me? Getting close to gather information? Not that did your family kidnapped Luna?"
Luther stayed silent he could tell the hurt in her eyes was real. Not only she was hurt even him. He couldn't believe that she would say that to Luther, especially accusing him and his family kidnapped Luna. " do you really believe that?"
The room was silence, sloane let out a sigh.
" sloane, you need to know something about me." Luther continued to speak to her. " I don't really have any friends. Or... Romances. I just have my family, and I would do anything to protect them except betray you because that's not who I wanna be. So, if you're playing me right now. You win. But if this... If this is for real, we have to trust each other because we're not our families. "
