Viktor and Reginald were in the car driving to the location, Reginald turn on the radio. Viktor change the music to radio station, Reginald noticed this and immediately change it back to to the elegant aria. Viktor change it back and Reginald looked at him then change it back.
Viktor stare at the radio and activating his power, thrumming pointing at the radio. Destroying the radio. Reginald stare at him. " well, that was certainly uncalled for."
" was it?" Viktor mocked him. Still mad at him at the diner.
" trying to save Ben is a fools errand." Reginald told him, stating the facts. " if you look at the variables, the odds of success are vanishingly small. "
" that's cause the only variables you consider are black and white." Viktor answer him. " there's gray in the world. I live in that space."
Reginald listen to him and stare at him for a second. " you're different than your siblings. I suspect that the other Hargreeves was afraid of that. And you."
" yeah, he was. And it screwed me up fora long time." You say you're not the same as him?" Reginald look at him. " nows your chance to prove it."
Reginald hummed.
After a long drive, Viktor and Reginald finally made it to hotel where Ben and Jennifer are staying at. Viktor saw all the dead birds on the ground, " what is all of this?"
Reginald spoke, holding the device tracker. " this is the cleanse, my boy. My monitoring station recorded a magnitude 6.3 seismic event. And the epicenter... Is right here."
Reginald walked towards the lobby of the hotel as Viktor follows him. Once they got inside, Reginald shuts off the device and they both stare at the corpse. Seating on the chair.
" what the hell?" Viktor shocked.
" you still think you can save Ben?" Reginald questioned him again proving a point.
Viktor stare at him, still thinking in thought. Reginald continue, " this is only phase one. His mind has been hijacked. His body is merely a vessel. The cleanse will slowly take full control. "
Viktor stayed quiet then grabbed the phone.

In a different town, Ben and Jennifer were smiling happily as they stopped to get gas. Ben lean in towards her kissing her. Not noticed to them a man saw the car and notified Reginald.
Ben pull back and spoke, " we should run away somewhere."
Jennifer stare at him, laughs. " excuse me?"
" I'm serious." Ben told her, feeling happy. " keep driving south. Live on a beach somewhere. Get married. Just you and me."
" sure. With the 18 bucks we have between us." Jennifer sarcasticlly told him.
