After what happened outside of red King thrive through, Gene walked inside holding a ice cream cone, as he trying to stay focus. And getting used to the new body. Gene took a bite of the ice cream. Jean noticed Gene was back and stood up, walked towards him. " you changed your shirt?"
" the other one got stained." Gene stuttered, trying to be calm. " chikkadoo sauce."
Jean stared at him closely, " mint chocolate chip." She paused, eyeing him up and down. " what's gotten into yo, gene? You know that gives you the runs."
Gene mouth was full of the ice cream, hearing her voice of concern. " nothing wrong with living on the edge from time to time, my love."
Jean stared at him weirdly knowing something isn't right. But heard another voice interrupted, " leaders." Jean look towards the worker. " one of our teams found Ben and Jennifer."
Both Jean and Gene stare at her. Shocked that they were located. Gene lean towards Jean, " it's time to put out the call."
Jean stayed quite, look towards the worker. She spoke concern, by the request of Gene. " are you sure?"
" play the song." Jean order her the request. As she formed a big smile. Both Jean and Gene heard the song playing, as they went towards the car and went to the location.
As they left, all most everyone in the city got up and left hearing the music playing. Everyone got their weapons and went towards the location even showing the tattoo umbrellas but upside down.
When Gene and Jean made it to the location, they saw a large crowd waiting for them. Both were on the bed of the tuck, " keepers. We are nearing the moment of return to our rightful lives. No longer will we need to live in the memories of another place or another time. The non believers will try to break through our lines and stop the cleanse. We cannot let that happen! " Jean announced.
" so now is the time for vigilance! Now is the time for sacrifice! " Gene yell at the followers, as he announces. " Because, goddamn it, we're the only effers brave enough to see this through! "
" are you with us?" Jean yells.
The followers yelling in response.
