She slammed the door close and rested her back on it. Her heartbeat was beating very fast, she could hear it beating loudly in her quiet house. She placed her two hands on her chest to calm the rapid beating. Sweats on her head dropped down to her chin and eventually, to the floor.
"Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God," she couldn't help but chant in a hushed low voice, her heartbeat wasn't slowing down instead, it was increasing and adenine rushed through her body.

She pulled the face cap down to her face as it stayed on her head. She used her other hand to grab her hair which she used to cover her face. Then, she stuffed her hands into her pocket and walked silently yet with speed. Her eyes spun leftwards and rightwards.
She was approaching the café and a blast of joy filled her but suddenly, something hard hit her. Ella threw herself on the floor and winced, she looked up to see who it was.
"I'm sorry, I'm running late to a meeting." The man who quacked her apologized as he ran away.
Ella hissed and picked up the bag that fell with her and she stood up, "at least, it's better it's just a passerby than them." She muttered and walked away.

She pushed the door open and walked in, her heartbeat dropped as she smelled the familiar and welcoming smell of the café.
"What are you wearing?" Arie asked as she passed her with a plate of cake. Arie widened her eyes in shock and surprise when Ella took hold of her arm and pulled her to the back room.
They entered the room and Ella closed the door, and she looked at Arie, and grabbed her shoulders. "Do you know what happened to me yesterday?"
Arie let out a relieved breath, "you want to talk about you getting ice creams and sugar doughnuts yesterday? I know. Let's talk about it later," Arie took hold of Ella's hands and took them off her shoulder, and held them with a smile on her face.
"No. That's not it," Ella whined with her eyes wide open.
"What's it then?" Arie huffed with a tired look in her eyes.
"I saw bad people yesterday. They wanted to kill a man that's old as our manager. So, I finished giving the flyer late and when I was coming back, I heard a man screaming and when I checked over, a man was kneeling down and five men were around him and their leader was leaning on a car by their side," she whispered softly with her eyes widened.
Arie looked at her with a dumbfounded look and huffed, "Is this a new movie or a new novel you've started reading? Last time it was about a zombie candy girl."
"No! I saw it with my two eyes. I-"
"Ella, I'm busy, I get you're trying to cheer me up with stories, but not now, girl," Arie tapped her hand on Ella's shoulder and she picked up her plate and walked out of the room.
"Why is no one believing what I'm saying?!" she stomped her foot on the ground with frustration in her. "Right! I have a video!" She quickly placed her hands on her lips to shush herself, "I have the video. I can send it to the police." "I can send it to the police," she increased her voice a little bit, "but... what if they come and kill me," she rambled and her heart dropped as she said.
'They can't. They can't... Right?'
"ELLA!!!"
The sound of the loud scream took her away from her thoughts and she speed-run out of the room.

"See you later," Ella said waving at Arie who had a smile on her face. She opened the door and walked outside.
'I've been avoiding going back home... I don't want to see them... What if they're waiting for me?'
Her eyes searched around herself and she huffed when she saw no one suspicious. She walked down the road, with her eyes roaming about in search of a taxi. She let out a hiss when she couldn't see one.
"Taxi, where are you? I need you now..."
"You can walk through it, girl."
Ella spun backward in a flit and her eyes caught Arie who was leaving the café, she smiled nervously at her and Arie waved her goodbye as she walked in the opposite direction from where Ella was.
Ella let out a hiss as she tried to calm her beating heart. "I need to start going now or else, I'll be rained upon," she looked up at her sky and let out a concerned sign. Her eyes traveled to the road in sight for any taxi but there was none. She hissed and opened her bag, she pulled her face cap and put them on, then, she started walking down the road as fast as she could without causing any suspicious eyes on her.
She slowed down at the sight of a silhouette behind her and her heart dropped, she was frozen and covered in sweat, her heart beat increased rapidly and then, she forced her leg to move but just then, she heard his voice.
"Stop there."
It was the voice of their leader.
