MAFIOSO IS OFFICIALLY BACK
= = =

'It's been five months already. Five months after I was kidnapped... Five months of pain and severe nightmare and worst insomnia. I'm still living my life... It's not like I can stop. I have to work and continue.'

Ella wiped the towel on the table and let her thoughts wander away.

"-lla."

"Ella!"

She looked back at Arie who had been calling her.

'Yes. I have been quiet all of a sudden and my mind diverts away like so much.'

She smiled at Arie, "was thinking about what to eat this night."

'That was a close call.'

'Have I still been hiding it? Yes. I'm scared that if I tell anyone, they would get killed like that... Tony. After the news of his death, I was been eaten with guilt. I could have reported to the police. I could have saved his life and yet, I ignored him. Each and every day, the guilt still pinches me and stabs me in my chest.'

Arie looked at her with a playful annoyed look, "aren't you leaving? It's already past 10."

Ella looked away from Arie and to the wooden clock at the end and frowned, "really?" She thought out loud.

"From the past things that have been going on in this city about mafia groups and all that, you should be going home very early. And the road to your house is very dark and lonely," Arie placed her hands on her hips as she gushed with worry on her face.

"I know, Arie. I'll leave when I'm done with the tables." She smiled at Arie

"You should leave now, Ella," the manager said from behind and he walked towards them, "you've been working for so long and haven't taken a vacation. Take from it from now. Come to work next week, Ella." The middle-aged man smiled revealing his wrinkles.

"Days off work? I don't even have anywhere to go," she frowned with a surprised look on her face.

Arie smiled at her, "you can visit some people that you haven't seen in a long time."

The middle-aged man nodded in agreement.

'I know myself... I wouldn't go anywhere and I can't seem to avoid this with the look on their faces.'

Ella nodded and smiled, "thank you, I'll use it very well." She walked back to the counter and picked up her bag and untied the apron that was around her waist.

"Okay, okay, be going. It's already so late."
Ella chuckled and with a nod at them, she stepped out of the restaurant.

'Like I said, I can't do anything aside from working... I don't even have any hobbies or talents. I don't know much people... I left my past and came here thinking it would be fun but it's not anymore.'

Ella laid down on her bed and her eyes were staring at the ceilings. The fan was spinning and the breeze was blowing wonderfully well from the opened window. Suddenly, she let out a hiss and pulled herself up, "Ella, your life is so boring." She looked down at her feet and hissed again.

'Is this how I'm supposing-ly meant to enjoy my week off or so...'

"Let's learn how to cook some recipe!" She suddenly exclaimed and jumped out of her bed. But then, she paused on her match, "isn't that a waste of money? I live alone." She cursed under her breath and sat down back on the bed. But as she did, the edge of her feet hit something under the bed and she winced in pain. She looked down and pulled the little iron box. As her eyes met the box, they sadden. There was that glint of sadness in them.

"It's been so long," she mumbled and opened the box.

There was a picture of two girls standing beside each other with a wide smile on their face. Their eyes were identical, the only thing that differentiate them was their hair colour; one had black while the other brown. Their hair was put into a pigtail.

"I-"

She was interrupted by the loud sound of the kettle whistling.

Ella let out a silent hiss and threw the picture back into the box, she closed it and shovelled it under the bed and she walked away.

"Shit. Shit. Shit."

He mumbled as he leaned on a tree. He peaked out of the tree and looked around him. His eyes catch a ray of light and he bent down. When he couldn't see it again. He sprinted and placed his back on another tree. His breath was calm despite running around.

"I saw him! I saw him!!"

Suddenly, there was a loud masculine voice yelling.

"Well, damn." The man cursed under his breath and he sprinted away.

"THERE!!"

"FOLLOW HIM!!"

"DON'T LOOSE HIM!!"

"There have been serials of investigation on the case and police are still on the run to find the-."

Ella switched off the televisedonn and hissed, "can someone hear some good news other than the police and the mafia," she stood up on her feet, picked up the cup on the table and she walked into her bedroom. She closed the door, walked to her bed and sat down. She sipped her water and picked a pill from her medicine can, she threw it into her mouth and swallowed. She huffed again and lied down on her bed, she pulled the duvet to her chest and suddenly, her eyes started becoming dully. Her lashes fluttered slowly and suddenly; she fell asleep.

Ella opened her eyes. She frowned. She heard a sound. Although she was sure it was very silent yet it woke her up.

'Am I dreaming?'

She moved her duvet out from herself and dropped her legs on the ground, then she stood up. She rubbed her eyes and opened her bedroom door, she walked to the living room and looked at the television.

"It's switched off?"

She hissed and turned to leave but her eyes caught something... Rather, someone. He stood with his back facing towards the door and staring back at her. It was the bun man...
