                               *His Point of View*
Alarick lying in a pool of blood and sounding ears with fire surrounding him. He smiled although a painful and regretful smile.

“No! No! DON’T DO IT!!”

A young lady jumped out from the bushes with her palms stretched out at me.

‘What the f**k is this?’

I chuckled as I looked down at her shaky hands then I pushed the gun into his pocket and glanced up at Austin, “Austin, get him to the warehouse.” Austin nodded and walked away.

And now, I turned to her.

“So, I'm a nice person.”

‘What’s the hell is she saying?’

“I wanted to check what's going on but then everything is good. So, I would go now. Thank you for having me, bye,” she said with a nervous smile on her face, she turned around to go but Luke was behind her and he smirked at her.

‘A noisy brat.’

“Get her.”

I turned away and walked away. She’s like every noisy brat that wants to know what's going on.

It was like reflex as my arms went around her waist and I held her other hand, and I asked, “are you okay?”

She didn’t look at me but I heard her low mumble, “It's Alarick...”

My eyes widened in surprise as she recognized me from my voice. But then, she took off my hand which held her wrist and stood up by herself and I took off my hand from her waist. I stood in front of her now. I was stunned, ‘I couldn’t see her face, but she looked beautiful.’

I cleared my throat and looked away.

Nah, Alarick, you're flopping around.’

She looked up at me, “thank you. And I'm sorry I thought you were someone else.”

That made me smile and she gave a nervous look and picked up her pulse that fell, she was about to turn around and leave.

She can't leave, we just met.’

“It's me.” I couldn’t help but say something to stop her from leaving.

“What?” She spun around to me and blinked her eyes with surprise. That alone amused me and I pulled the mask down for her to see my eyes.

Suddenly, she inched towards me and  I held my breath.

'W-what is she doing?'

“what are you doing here?”

I let out a huff and took a step backward. I pulled the mask back up and tightened the string at the back of my head. She looked away from me to Austin behind me and she mumbled politely, “good evening.”

I smirked at her but then, my eyes caught Hagrid and Steve.

I'm gonna waste some time. It won't hurt.’

My eyes ran through her face.

'It definitely won't hurt.'

I slipped my hands in hers and held her hand, “come on.” And I pulled her with him.

“To where?” She asked in a hushed tone. And Austin followed us.

“Are we clear?”

“Uhm,” I answered while I took off the mask and dropped it on the table. I wiped off the sweat on my forehead and looked back at her.

‘She was kinda quiet and it's unlike her.’

“Are you okay? Is your wound all healed?”

‘What's that tone?’

I looked back at her and ran my eyes on her face. She had a look on her face. I looked away from her, “Austin, leave us.”

‘I think she’s uncomfortable because of Austin’s presence.’

“Yes, boss,” I heard Austin and he walked out of the room.

“W-why?” She frowned with a pout on her lips.

I leaned back and looked at her, “you looked uncomfortable.”

“I think you're the one who is uncomfortable to be chatting with me in front of your men,” she blurted out.

I let out a chuckle, “you're still blurt and talkative.”

Ella rolled her eyes and looked back at me, “why are you here? I was surprised to see you here.”

‘She doesn’t need to know.’

“I didn’t think you were surprised, you already called my name,” I raised a brow, “even after I told you to forget about me and my name,” and I folded his arms.

I need to change the topic.'

“You told me. And I don’t have short-term memory, I can't just choose to forget it,” she huffed out.

“How are you here?” I knew but still asked as I leaned on the table and looked down at her, “in the city of all places?”

Ella let out a tired huff, “I was invited and my date is nowhere to be found. The boy is a jerk.”

“Boy?”

“Yes, a boy, because he is so immature. I'm literally tired of the party. I don’t know anyone here and I want to go home,” she flopped back to the couch with a pout on her lips.

She's cute.’

I was silent but had a smile on my face.

Ella looked back at me and frowned, “what about you?”

‘Looks like I can't avoid it. She's so curious.'

‘There is something in her eyes... I can't...’

My smile reduced and I looked away from her, leaned back and folded my arms, “I wanna do something.”

Ella nodded and she pulled herself up, “right.” She clapped her hands together and leaned back to the table, “your friend. I mean, your member.”

I looked down at her with raised brows.

“I think his name is Gab.”

At the sound of his name, I frowned and sat up, ‘Gab?’

“I saw him. I think it was about three weeks from today. He was in the mall with two men. Is he already released?” She questioned, “The news never said anything much about it and that’s why I was surprised to see him.”

“What was the precise date?” I looked down at her as my face hardened in seriousness.

Ella was taken aback by the look, “erm... 13th June.” She frowned and continued, “Why? Did something happen?”

I looked back at her, stood up and walked to her, “just keep your eyes on him and be careful.”

Ella looked up at my eyes and with a frown on her face, she nodded.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and Austin walked in. He paused and looked at Alarick standing beside Ella. “It's time, boss.”

I nodded at him and Austin walked away.

“You're already going?”

I looked back at her who asked with doll-like eyes. And I nodded, “yes. I'm leaving now.”

“Oh gosh. I have,” she glanced at her wristwatch, and she continued, “fifteen minutes before I go too.”

‘She's so beautiful...’

She looked up at me and smiled, “be safe too.” She raised her thumbs up and flashed him a smile.

My mind was going else. I looked down at her face and my eyes lowered to her lips.

‘Why not just do it.’

I held my hand together to stop myself from moving forward to her.

Alarick. What are you doing?'

And while she talked, my eyes scanned the whole place, I frowned when I saw a little red light.

‘It wasn’t there before.’

I took a step to her and held her delicate small face in my hands, and bent down and placed my lips on her forehead. However, I kept my eyes on the red light and then it was gone. And then, I moved away from her and looked down into her brown big eyes, “stay safe, Ella.”

‘It's kinda awkward.’

    ‘Erm.... What do I do?’

I placed my hand on her head and ruffled her hair. And then, I walked away as I picked up the mask and wore it off.

Maybe I should have looked back but I was rather shy. Like a dumba*s.

‘Kinda was my chance.’

I pushed the door open and walked up to Austin and then, we walked away.

Thank you, red light.

‘I wanted to say so much to you. I want to tell you how much I like you. You never knew how much my heart beats when you're beside me... I wanted to meet you on a different occasion rather than how messy we met. Maybe I would have been a model and so as you. Or even a normal man working at a convenience store and maybe you were an office worker. And then, we would have lived normally. You won't be kidnapped and I won't be lying down here in my death.

But, Ella Jones, if I had one more chance then I would use it to spend my whole life with you. I couldn’t say it but... I love you.

And Vons, Emilio, Gab, and my members, I enjoyed my messy life thanks to you. And dad, live longer than me...

Goodbye.’

His eyes softly closed and a tear dropped from his eyes to the floor. He fell unconscious and slowly, his heartbeat started decreasing.
