“I'm ready boss.”
Austin called.
“Same here, boss.”
“Here too.”
Hagrid and Steve followed.
He had his hand behind him as he stared at the dark sky from the transparent glass walls. “Is it 7?” He asked without turning back.
“Yes bos-,” Austin said but was interrupted by Steve.
“It's seven sharp, boss,” Steve said as he eyed Austin.
Alarick turned to them and picked up the black clothing on the chair, “let’s not play. We have to rescue Gab today,” he straightened himself and wrapped the piece of clothing around his neck to cover his tattoo, “Austin will come with me and Steve and Hagrid, you guys stay together,” he paused and looked away from them to the crew behind them. “Dave, give us the signals. I don’t want another flopping.”
Dave stood up from his sit and nodded, “yes sir.”
“Let’s leave.” He denoted.
“Yes boss,” Hagrid and Steve pushed the little knife into the back of their trousers and nodded their head.
Alarick raised a brow as he looked back at Austin who had a weird look as if his mind was not there. Austin looked away from distance and to Alarick’s face, his eyes widened and he looked away in fear, “yes boss.”
Alarick frowned at that. He looked away from him and back to the crew, “team Dave and Ryan will leave first. I want Alec, Tim, Kelvin, Flex and Will to stay at home. I want a successful mission. And for final words,” he paused and looked down at them, “betrayal is what I hate the most. We are like family and family don’t betray themselves. So, I don’t want to f**king see that anyone betrays someone here. If that happens,” he paused and his voice lowered and he clenched his jaw, “I won't forgive that person.” Then, he breathed out, “But for now, let’s go!”
“YES BOSS!!!”

“You guys are leaving by 8:40 sharp Boss.”
Dave’s voice voiced out from the earbud in their ears. Hagrid and Steve nodded their heads at Alarick and they walked away.
“We don’t need attention boss, I'll say we stay in the quiet room at the end of the hall,” Austin whispered into Alarick’s ear.
He didn’t reply and looked around them, “let’s check it first.” And he started walking away with Austin behind him.

“Boss, here it is.” Austin gestured at the door at the end of the hall.
He raised his brows as he heard something.
“Wait,” Alarick looked away as he heard a familiar voice, he looked back and he saw her brown hair. “Ella?”’ He frowned and looked back at Austin with a questioning look on his face.
“Ah. I didn’t want to tell you since today we have a serious mission. She was invited by her friend’s cousin. His name is Evans August. He is a-” Austin was interrupted.
“If I tell you to give me details on something, do the f**king thing, I'm the one that knows what the f**k I'll do with it,” he glared at Austin who had his head low.
“I’m sorry boss.”
Alarick ignored him and walked away to Ella who stood outside the bathroom.

“Are you okay?”
It's a masculine voice... A familiar one. Ella snapped her eyes open and they met dark green eyes.
“It's Alarick...” She mumbled.
‘WHAT ARE YOU DOING ELLA?!’
She took off his hand which held her wrist and stood up by herself making the man take his hand from her waist. The man was wearing a mask covering his face.
‘Why would Alarick be here? Of course, he is not the one.’
She looked up at the man, “thank you. And I'm sorry I thought you were someone else,” she gave a nervous look and picked up her purse that fell down, she was about to turn around and leave but halted as the man talked.
“It's me,” Alarick answered while he stared down at her.
“What?” She blinked her eyes at him.
And he pulled the mask down for her to see his eyes. In his green eyes, there was a glint of amusement in them.
“What are you doing here?” She widened her eyes as she saw the mark that was on his eyebrow and said in a hushed voice and also took a step towards him.
Alarick pulled the mask back and tightened the string at the back of his head.
She looked away from him as she saw a man behind him, the man had his eyes on her, “good evening.” She mumbled politely.
Alarick looked behind her and he could see Hagrid and Steve, he slipped his hands in hers and held her hand, “come on.” And he pulled her with him.
“To where?” She asked in a hushed tone. And Austin followed behind them.

Ella sat opposite him and had already taken off her mark. But the man that was with him, Austin was looking around the room. He stopped and came back to Alarick and then, he shook his head, and Alarick nodded.
“Are we clear?” She asked as she stared from Alarick to Austin.
Austin raised a brow at her.
“Uhm,” Alarick answered. He took off the mask and dropped it on the table.
She looked down at his face as he wiped off the sweat on his forehead and looked back at her, “are you okay? Is your wound all healed?”
Alarick halted by the tone of her voice, he looked back at her and ran his eyes on her face. There was a look on her face. He clenched his jaw and looked away from her, “Austin, leave us.”
Austin’s eyes twitched and he nodded, “yes, boss,” and walked out of the room.
“W-why?” Ella couldn’t help but stutter at the cold voice he gave to Austin.
He leaned back and looked at her, “you looked uncomfortable.”
“I think you're the one who is uncomfortable to be chatting with me in front of your men,” she blurted out.
He let out a chuckle, “You're still blunt and talkative.”
Ella rolled her eyes and looked back at him, “why are you here? I was surprised to see you here.”
“I didn’t think you were surprised, you already called my name,” he raised a brow, “even after I told you to forget about me and my name,” and he folded his arms.
“You told me. And I don’t have short time memory, I can't just choose to forget it,” she huffed out.
“How are you here?” He asked and leaned on the table as he looked at her, “in the city of all places?”
Ella let out a tired huff, “I was invited and my date is nowhere to be found. The boy is a jerk,”
“Boy?” He had a look of amusement on his face.
“Yes, a boy, because he is so immature. I'm literally tired of the party. I don’t know anyone here and I want to go home,” she flopped back to the couch with a pout on her lips.
He was silent but had a smile on his face.
Ella looked back at him and frowned, “what about you?”
His smile reduced as he looked back at her, he leaned back and folded his arms, “I wanna do somethings.”
Ella nodded and she pulled herself up, “right.” She clapped her hands together and leaned back to the table, “your friend. I mean, your member.”
Alarick looked down at her with raised brows.
“I think his name is Gab.”
At the sound of his name, Alarick frowned and sat up.
“I saw him. I think it was about three weeks from today. He was in the mall with two men. Is he already released?” She questioned, “the news never said anything much about it and that’s why I was surprised to see him.”
“What was the precise date?” He looked down at her with a sharp look in his eyes.
Ella was taken aback by the look, “erm... 13th June.” She frowned as he remained silent and but looked away in distance. “Why? Did something happen?”
Alarick looked back at her and he stood up and walked to her, “just keep your eyes on him and be careful.”
Ella looked up at his dark green worried eyes and with a frown on her face, she nodded.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and Austin walked in. He paused and looked at Alarick standing beside Ella. “It's time, boss.”
Alarick nodded at him and Austin walked away.
“You're already going?”
Alarick looked back at her who asked with doll-like eyes. He half smiled, “yes. I'm leaving now.”
“Oh gosh. I have,” she glanced at her wristwatch, and she continued, “fifteen minutes before I go too.” She looked up at him and smiled, “be safe too.” She raised her thumbs up and flashed him a smile.
Suddenly, he took a step toward her and held her face with his two hands, and he bent down and placed his lips on her forehead. And after a few seconds, he took his lips off her and looked down into her brown big eyes, “stay safe, Ella.” He ruffled her hair on her head and he walked away as he picked up the mask and wore it off.
Ella had her eyes open wide as she stared at him as he walked away.
