𝙼𝚈 𝚃𝚄𝚃𝙾𝚁 [ᴄᴏᴍᴘʟᴇᴛᴇᴅ]

𝙲𝙷𝙰𝙿𝚃𝙴𝚁 𝟸𝟾

I meet the girls down on the beach along with George and Sam. The only people who stayed behind with me after the massive train wreck.

Belle looks at me with a frown as well as Kayla, Evelyn and Olivia.

"Don't look at me like that." I share a glance between them all. Belle drops her head down and raises her eyebrow.

"We can all see it in your eyes, Elaine. And that's okay." 

Evelyn nods along with Belle and I shake my head in a laugh.

"I swear, all is good. Just need to go..." I trail off.

Shit.

Where? Go back to the dorm? No. There's no way I'm doing that tonight. Go back to the house with my mum? No. Again, there's no way when it's hours away and my mum would not appreciate the random knock on the door at whatever time it would be when I arrive...

"Go?" Kayla pulls me out of my small trance. I mentally shake my head, hoping it would poor out all the distractive thoughts.

"I have nowhere to go." I say. All of them look at each other, confused.

"What do you mean?" Evelyn asks the question they are all thinking.

"Well, I can't go back to the dorm, can I? Everyone else is gonna be there." I flap my hands up in the air.

"Why can't you go back if the rest is there?" Sam butts in, still not pulling his face away from his phone.

Evelyn slaps him on the arm with a grumble. "Did you not pay attention to any of what went on?" She whisper-shouts. Sam side eyes her, slowly rubbing his arm before going back to his phone.

I watch the two with squinting eyes. Well...well...well.

We all stay in silence for a good couple seconds before Kayla speaks the stupidest shit I've ever heard from her in my whole time of knowing she ever existed.

"Why don't you just come stay with us?"

I flick my eyes to Evelyn and she seems almost shocked she wasn't the one to say it. Seeing as she's usually the slow one.

"Kayla."

She looks at me, her smile slowly falling. Before she has the chance to speak again, I do first.

"Are you stupid?"

She blinks at me, confused.

"Oh my god.." I sigh the words under my breath. "Kayla. I can't go back onto campus!"

"Ohhh...shit! I forgot." She shrugs and looks at George as he laughs to himself. She gives him a dirty look before looking back at me. "I mean...We can still try? The only other option you have is going back to the other dorm and having to confront the others..."

I shake my head. "Definitely not doing that..."

"What are you gonna do then? Can we hurry up? It's getting a little cold out, you know." Sam joins in on the convocation.

"Why are you even here?" Evelyn gives him a stern look which he returns in a playful way.

"Never liked that Ben guy..." He looks at me and then Evelyn, tapping her on the shoulder with his knuckles. "Did you see his face?" You can see they are both about to laugh, but Kayla shoves a shoulder into Evelyn and she composes herself. Sam copies her, getting a message from whatever look she sends his way.

I look back to the others, ignoring them. "We can try. I can tell Kasku the situation and then it's all up to him if he can help." I let out a long sigh, feeling sick and tired of this all.
