It's been over a week since spending the night at Zions and it's been a rough one.

Once Zion had dropped me back off at campus the morning after, I had to deal with the girls again. I first walked through the door to Olivia and Belle with suitcases spread out on the floor. They were each packing their own clothes and belongings while also doing my own.

"What are you doing?" I asked the question slowly as I examined the room.

Clothes and clothes along with toiletries and essentials were piled and spread out throughout the room.

"Us three are moving into a dorm of our own. It's about time, don't you think?" Olivia looked up at me with a smile, one saying that I should agree with her.

I nod. "Suree...I guess?"

I take the time to look around the rest of the dorm. Sami and Cali are the only ones here besides us three.

"Are you going to help us pack or what?" Belle said, clearly frustrated with it all herself.

Now, It's me, Belle and Sam in our own dorm. Sam's here because he wanted to hang out. But I think it's just because Evelyn's coming around later...for some reason he won't admit it though.

But anyways, to be honest with you, it's a relief that we have separated. It doesn't take so long to shower and get ready because 6 other girls aren't waiting to get into the bathroom. There's no more awkwardness when I enter or leave our dorm, and overall, everyone's much, much happier where we are now.

My phone rings from beside me and I place my book down on my bed as I pick it up. I pull open the new text I've gotten from Evelyn.

3:58PM: Evelyn: I'm outside! Let me in. It's fucking freezing.

"Evelyns here, so..." I jump off the bed and head for the door. "I'll be back."

5 minutes later, Evelyn is sitting on the floor with the rest of us while we play the game Sam insisted on us joining in on.

He keeps getting angry at both me and Belle for doing absolute shit, but when it comes to Evelyn dying, he doesn't comment, only helps her.

"Belle. You know the aim of the game is to not die, right?" He keeps his eyes on the screen, taking one short glance at Evelyn before going back to the game.

"Yes, Sam. I do know that." Belle mumbles, rolling her eyes.

"Then stop dying." He grumbles.

Evelyn bats him in the arm with the back of her hand. "Stop making her angry and focus on yourself."

I laugh to myself at the look they exchange. I drop my controller down once I die for what I think is the 7th time and turn to Belle who did the same.

"Should we call Kayla? Seeing as she's missing out?" I grab my phone after she gives me a thumbs up from where she's spread across the sofa like a tired-out dog.

"She won't answer because she's out with George." Evelyn butts in, smiling to herself as she kills someone.

"What do you mean by busy?" Belle asks the question that is running through my head.

"You know...I don't know?" She shrugs. "Date stuff."

"They're 100% fucking." Belle dramatically shakes herself as if it grosses her out.

I laugh at her. "Are they official yet?" I ask, turning to Evelyn and Sam.

They both finish their game before shutting it off and joining in on the convocation.

"Kayla hasn't said anything. But I think they are." Evelyn gives me a knowing smile.

"George talks about her a lot. Usually when the other guys aren't around, he comes over to me and starts rambling on about her and how pretty and funny she is." He says the words while looking down at his phone.

"Well, they have been on like 8 dates since the fair..." Evelyn sighs and leans back against the floor, right into Sam's lap. I expect her to fall into a complete panic and fly off of him, blushing and saying sorry repeatedly, but she doesn't. Neither of them move.

I look at Belle and she's already looking at me. We both share a look with our eyebrows raised.

"So...on the topic of relationships, what's going on with you guys?" I ask the question slowly, studying them to see if they share a look or go all secretive.

They both act casual as they both say, "What do you mean?"

Evelyn lays with her head on Sam's lap with her eyes closed while Sam looks at his phone with as usual, a frown.

"I mean...you guys. Evelyn and Sam."

"Nothing's going on." Evelyn shrugs.

"Liars..." I whisper under my breath.

"Well, what about you and Zion?" Evelyn swaps the topic rather quickly.

"Not much to say about that." I answer simply so I don't give away much. Me and Zion are going well, but I don't want them to know in case it all goes downhill again. I may be happy with our friendship at the moment, but he's taken me out once, and although axe throwing has been on my bucket list for a while, it won't make me feel different about him completely.

"Have you forgiven him yet?" Belle flips herself over on the couch so now she's facing us all while laying on her belly.

I shake my head. "Not fully, no. But he's getting there." I feel a smile crawl onto my face at the thought of it.

"Hasn't he only taken you out once?" Sam raises his eyebrow at me as he looks away from his phone for a couple seconds.

"Yeah...That's why I said he's getting there." I roll my eyes at him despite the fact he can't see me. Even though what Sam's saying is true, Zion hasn't gone a day without asking how my day was or sending goodmorning and goodnight messages. As well as making me feel a whole lot better about the situation of what happened. And for me, it's the small things to show he cares, not just the bigger gestures.

"How's the sex going?" Belle smirks at me.

"Oh, for fucks sake...You have been talking to Kayla too much. And I am not having this conversation..." I get up from my seat on the floor and head to the bathroom.

Belle laughs to herself as I do.
