Nagisa POV

I was surprised to see Karma cause I knew he had good grades. I shrugged it off until it was lunchtime. He came up to me. "Nagisa. Do you want to eat lunch with me?" he asked. I shook my head, "Sorry I didn't bring lunch." He looked at me asking, "Aren't you hungry?" I shook my head lying. I decided to climb my favorite tree. The wind felt nice on my face.

Suddenly I felt a sting on my neck. I slapped it and felt something small clinging to me. I gasped as I noticed it was a snake. I tried to pry it off but it hurt too much. I felt its poison sinking into me as I began to feel dizzy. I grabbed its head and squeezed slightly. It loosened its grip and I was able to take it off.

My mind was spinning and I was seeing double. I tried to call for help but I couldn't talk. My hand was on the bite trying to stop the blood from flowing. I took it off quickly seeing that it was covered in blood.

I groaned in pain as I began to sway. I knew I would fall off the tree if I didn't get off soon. I gripped the tree trunk and tried to slide down. It was rough but I finally made it to the ground.

I don't know how I was still standing or even thinking. The poison should have killed me by now but it didn't. Instead of blood coming out of my wound it was a type of blue goo. I nearly gagged but I held it. I tried to run to the classroom but I felt my knees shake and I fell only catching myself with my free hand.

I felt something moving on my hand and I felt something inside my neck. I gasped for air as it went down into my lungs. I couldn't breathe. Suddenly everything went black. I couldn't see anything. I felt nothing.

Then after about a minute, I could see again. My chest was in pain but it wasn't that bad. I looked around. I move my hand from my wound and saw nothing on it. I looked at my hand and it was healed. I touched my wound and winced.

I panicked and ran back to my house. I quietly opened the door and ran to my room. I picked up my mirror and looked at my bite. It was covered with what looked like scales. They were an azure color. I made sure to look everywhere on my body. I only had a few other spots of scales. One on my waist and one on my ankle.

In a flash, I felt my teeth hurt so bad. I groaned loudly as I touched them. I looked in the mirror again and saw that my two top canines had grown longer. They reminded me of fangs.

I didn't know what to do. Then I heard a knock at the door. I went to answer it making sure to cover my scales. It was Karma. "K-Karma! What are you doing here?!" I asked loudly.

"Well I saw you run off and you didn't come back to class." He said to me.
