A snake's tale: Karmagisa series

Chapter 1

I literally can't think of any names for Nagisa's sensei so I'm gonna use @--Starling-- 's "Silver-Sensei" but credit to them. I do not intend to steal anything from anybody. On with the story!

Nagisa POV

Ever since I joined the assassins I have learned how to control my venom and my bloodlust. My teacher is the second reaper but I like to call him Silver-sensei because his hair is silver.

I just finished a mission and I heard him call for me. I shrugged and walked into his office. "Welcome back Nagisa," he said. "How did the mission go?"

"Good silver-sensei," I said. "I know that look. You're thinking of quitting aren't you?" he said. I nodded and sighed. "You know you can;t do that. It's been 4 years," he said looking at me.

I nodded again. "I am sorry. Would you like to take a break?"

"Yes. I would like to visit my friends," I answered hopefully. "Not all of them are your friends, Nagisa. I looked at him confused. "What?" I asked. He sighed and told me, "Your best friend Kaede Kayano lied to you. She isn't who she says she is. Her real name is Akari Yukimura," he said staring at me intently. I growled. "What are you going to do?" he asked. I replied, "What I was born to do." Then I ran out of the building.

Karma POV

It's been 4 years since I've seen Nagisa. Ever since he joined the assassins I haven't been able to see him. Suddenly I was snapped out of my thoughts by my phone ringing. I answered it.

"Karma he's back."

"Did you see him?"

"Yes. I think he's after Kayano."

"Alright take her to my house. Now!"

I hung up on Rio and started driving to my house. Once I parked I stood in my driveway waiting. It wasn't long because soon I heard, "Karma. Move out of the way."

"Nagisa. Please don't do this! She's my girlfriend! I beg you!" Rio yelled sobbing. Nagisa didn't seem fazed. "Nagisa please listen to her. I know you weren't there for the apology but she wants you to know that she is sorry." I said slowly walking up to him.

He looked away from me. "Come back Nagisa. Be my boyfriend again! Please!" I begged, "You love me right?!" "I-I don't know," he answered.

I was about a foot away from him. "Then maybe this will help you choose," I said before kissing him. It was short but sweet. "Have you made up your mind?" I said. "Yes. I'll stay for a bit. But...my sensei will send people after me. I don't want you to get hurt!" he said. "Let's make a deal. If I can keep these people from taking you back for a month then you stay for good," I said.

I smirked. "Karma..." he began. I put my finger over his lips. "I only make deals I know I can win," I said as I ran my fingers over his scales. He purred, "Ok." I smiled and carried him back into my house.
