A snake's tale: Karmagisa series

Chapter 4

Karma POV

Today's the day! I am so excited! I gotta get the party set up. Kayano and Rio will be here soon so I have to just wait.

I heard a knock at the door and I sprinted to the door. "Thank god! I thought you guys wouldn't make it!" I whispered urgently. They chuckled and came inside. I called Nagisa downstairs. He came walking down the stairs looking happy.

"Nagisa! Happy birthday!" Rio and Kayano yelled hugging him. He laughed as he was tackled to the ground surprised. "We wanted to take you out today! You know since it's your birthday!" Kayano said happily. I laughed as he looked at me like I did something. "Hey, I didn't know they were coming over. I got nothing to do with this!" I answered.

He chuckled and got up from the floor. "Sure. I'll hang out with y'all!" he said excitedly. I chuckled as he went upstairs to get changed. I winked at Rio when I saw him coming back down.

"Great, let's go!" Rio said, grabbing Nagisa's wrist and taking him to their car. He yelled as he was thrown in the car. I couldn't help but laugh. Alright time to get started.

Nagisa POV

I heard my name being called so I went to see what it was. I saw Rio and Kayano standing at the door then they suddenly tackled me. They wanted to hang out with me on my birthday. I really wanted to spend my birthday with Karma but I would see him tonight so I was fine.

I got dressed and they tossed me in the car laughing. I was in the backseat as we drove to my favorite restaurant. Honestly I was wondering what they were planning on doing so I thought I'd ask.

"What are we doing today?" I asked from the backseat.

"We are going to all your favorite places!" Kayano answered. I huffed and sat back. We got to the restaurant and ate. We left the place and went to buy some of my favorite manga series. I was excited when we got there.

Before I knew it, it was after dark. "Hey I gotta get home," I said to Rio. "Yep we are taking you there now," she said happily. I shrugged and sat back.

We finally got back home and went inside. I saw Karma sitting on the couch watching TV. "Hey love!" I said happily. He smiled, "Hello darling. How was your day?" he asked. "Lovely! I got my favorite manga series I wanted! Thank you guys!" I said waving at Rio and Kayano. But they didn't leave. I tilted my head to the side then I felt a blindfold go on. I was surprised but Karma said, "It's fine. It's just me. We have a surprise!" I smiled and returned back to normal.

He led me to where I think his backyard was and told me to sit down. I did so and he took off the blindfold. I gasped with my hands over my mouth. There were light blue lights strung, party tables, and a cake set up. I laughed. "SURPRISE!" I saw all of my friends yell from behind the table. I stood up extremely flabbergasted. I was in awe. "Do you like it?" I heard Karma ask. I nodded and kissed him.

"Come on, let's go get some cake," he laughed. I squealed in excitement. He was my favorite. Chocolate with raspberry frosting!

It was around midnight when I stood in my house and over the balcony. I sighed, happy that my family was around me. "Hi darling. Whatcha doing out here?" Karma asked. "Oh just some fresh air," I answered looking at him.

"Well...I have a question," he said as he got down on one knee. I gasped and faced him. I cried in awe. "Will you marry me, Nagisa Shiota?" he asked, looking up at me. I nodded squealing, "Yes yes yes! Yes of course I will!"

He looked at me in relief, "Thank god. I don't know what I would do without you."

"Shut up and kiss me you moron!" I said laughing. He grabbed my face and we had a long and passionate kiss. Eventually I heard cheers. I looked over at them and they all ran over to us, hugging us and cheering, with their drinks in hand.
