Sonics pov
I stared in disbelief. Our mystery housemate has gone missing already?
"Oh there he is" cream pointed out the window. We ran over to the window to see a green bird on the rooftop.
"That idiot!" Knuckles growled as he jumped onto the rooftop "hey kid! Get down from here!"
"Who the heck are you?" He yelped.
"That doesn't matter. Get down from there before someone sees you!" He hissed.
"Like I'm going back to that prison!" He backed to the edge.
"Hey be careful" tails called out but it was too late. He lost his balance and fell. I immediately jumped into action, grabbed the mystery guest and caught the edge before he fell.
"You ok kid" I give him a comforting smile.
"Whoe you're pretty fast" he clung to me "if you could not drop me that would be great"
"You got it" I winked at him before pulling him up "now why don't we go inside and have a little talk"
"No way" he tried to struggle out of my grasp "I'm going home!"
"You don't have a home to go back to you dumb kid!" Knuckles smacked him over the head.
"What the heck are you talking about" he rubbed his head with an annoyed expression.
"You don't know" tails flew up to us "we've been sent to another universe, far away from our home"
"No" he slumped to his knees "no that can't be true"
We all looked at each other with pity "let's just get him inside"
We nodded before gently leading him inside...
