*Buzz*
I shot awake at a sharp sound coming outside. I looked out the window at the sound of a saw blade blaring. I raised an eyebrow. What's going on.
I flew out the window and landed gracefully on the grass. I looked over at the shed where the sound was coming from. I popped my head in to see wave working on something while jet stood by her side, jumping excitedly.
"Is it nearly finished?" Jet leaned over her.
"As I said the last few times you asked I'll be finished when I'm finished" she ruffled his feathers with a fond smile. They must have really missed each other.
"Uhh what are you building" I leaned over in interest.
"Oh hey kid, you interested in tech?" She looked up in interest.
"Technology is only my whole life!" I grinned.
"Then you'll want to see this" she smirked "this baby is what I call extreme gear"
"What's extreme gear?" I tilted my head in confusion.
"It's only the coolest thing in the world!" Jet said excitedly "I really missed having my own extreme gear with me. It felt like a part of me was missing"
"And done! Here jet why don't you give our friend a demonstration" she threw the board to him.
"Glady" he grinned as he hopped on the board and did circles in the air.
"My gosh, the speed and precision is nothing short of incredible!" I watched in awe.
"I know right. The extreme gear is my greatest invention" she smiled proudly.
"Ah I missed this feeling" jet flew down to us with a big smile "I'm going to go explore the city now, bye!" He flew off before we could stop him.
"Alright be careful" wave called up to him.
"Are you sure that's safe. There's a lot of people in the city" I muttered worriedly.
"It will be fine. Out of the three of us jets the fastest on the gear" wave turn to me "you seem pretty smart shorty. You wanna help me make some more"
"Oh boy do I!" I was bouncing with excitement. I mean this was a chance to work with some new tech!
"Hehe well come along shorty" she beaconed me into the shed "my workshops this way!
